A Werewolf Boystarring Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young, will get a Filipino remake.

The Philippine entertainment group Viva Communications, which signed an MOU with Milagro, is officially moving forward with the production of the Philippine remake of the film A Werewolf Boy.

A Werewolf Boy follows Su Ni as she and her family relocate to a rural village in Korea. One day, they discover a "wolf boy" beneath a bush and, moved by compassion, decide to care for him. Troubled by his wild gaze and behavior, Su Ni guides him — teaching him to wait before meals, wear clothes properly, and learn the alphabet — so that he might eventually adapt to life among humans.

Released in 2012, the K-movie, which propelled actors Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young to stardom, was at the time recorded as the most-watched melodrama in South Korea at the time.

Rabin Angeles and Angela star in their first leading film roles in the Philippine remake of A Werewolf Boy.

Rabin Angeles will play the Werewolf Boy, and Angela Muji will take on the role of Su Ni. Additionally, veteran actors, including Lorna Tolentino, will join the cast.

The film will be directed by Crisanto B. Aquino. This project is a co-production between Viva Films, Studio Viva, and CJ Entertainment.
