Lee Jun Hyuk, Seo Hyeon Woo, and Oh Dae Hwan reveal why they chose 'The Ordinary Jackpot'
Kim So Hyun and Song Kang have been confirmed to reunite in MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama White Scandal.
On August 25, the production team behind White Scandal announced, "Song Kang and Kim So Hyun have been confirmed to appear in the drama."
White Scandal follows Dan Yi Hyuk (Song Kang), a third-generation chaebol heir and actor who does not want to become the successor, and Ji Eun Seol (Kim So Hyun), a former child star who has fallen from glory. The two begin a fake relationship to deceive the world and, in the process, work through the wounds of their buried pasts.
Song Kang takes on the role of Dan Yi Hyuk, a third-generation chaebol heir and the top actor in South Korea. Born as the illegitimate son of a chaebol family, Yi Hyuk has lived his life from a young age by playing the person his grandfather wanted him to be. Living as a top star in front of the cameras and as a chaebol family's grandson away from them, he begins a fake relationship with Ji Eun Seol, a former child actress whose career has fallen from grace, while struggling to escape the succession battle.
Kim So Hyun takes on the role of Ji Eun Seol, a once-promising child actress whose career came crashing down following an incident. Once beloved as a child actress, Eun Seol now works as a manager but still can't let go of her dream of acting. But when she reunites with Dan Yi Hyuk, who was at the center of the incident in her past, she comes face-to-face with long-buried secrets.
White Scandal is scheduled to begin filming soon.
