Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Stray Kids leader Bang Chan celebrated his birthday with a generous act, donating hundreds of millions to support people in need.
On October 3, Stray Kids leader Bang Chan donated a total of 200 million Korean won (approximately $143,000) to support children in need. He allocated 100 million Korean won to the Samsung Medical Center to cover treatment expenses for pediatric and adolescent patients. The remaining 100 million Korean won went to the Korean Committee for UNICEF, where the funds will be prioritized for urgent regional initiatives supporting health, education, nutrition, water and sanitation, child protection, and emergency relief programs.
With this donation, Bang Chan earned a spot in the UNICEF Honors Club, a status reserved for those who are high-value donors.
Bang Chan's recent donation is part of his consistent charitable giving. Last year, he also contributed 100 million Korean won on his birthday to the Community Chest of Korea to support athletes with developmental disabilities. This action earned him membership in the prestigious Honor Society.

Bang Chan shared, "I was able to share this warmth on my birthday, all thanks to the love from my fans. I am hopeful that this contribution will lend even a small amount of strength to children who are reaching for brighter dreams and envisioning a happier future."
Meanwhile, Bang Chan's group Stray Kids is scheduled to hold their encore world tour concert, titled 'dominATE : celebrATE,' at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on October 18 and 19.
Last August, Stray Kids released their fourth full album, KARMA, featuring the title track "CEREMONY." The song was penned by the group's producing trio, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). The music video gained extra attention for its guest appearance by the famous League of Legends player, Faker.
A huge thank you for your kind generosity, and wishing a very Happy Birthday to Stray Kids' Bang Chan!
