Hwang Jung Min's agency denies private life allegations, pursues legal action
The historical K-movie The King’s Warden has surpassed 4 million moviegoers.
On February 18, the 15th day since release, the Korean Film Council reported that The King’s Warden, starring Yoo Hai Jin, Park Ji Hoon, Yoo Ji Tae, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Min, surpassed 4 million moviegoers.
After surpassing the 3 million mark on the morning of February 17, the film reached 4 million in just one day.
This K-movie outpaces My Daughter Is a Zombie, the top-grossing Korean film of 2025, which reached 4 million viewers on day 17. The King’s Warden has now topped the daily box office for six consecutive days.
The King’s Warden is set in 1457 and tells the story of a headman who voluntarily makes the village an exile site to revive it and a young, former king who has been dethroned and sent into exile.
Korean thriller Humint has surpassed 1 million moviegoers.
On January 17, Humint, starring Zo In Sung, Park Jeong Min, Park Hae Joon, Shin Sae Kyeong, Jung Eugene, exceeded 1 million moviegoers.
Humint tells the story of North and South Korean secret agents clashing in Vladivostok.
