'The Apartment Job' controversy: Korea Association of Housing Managers reaches agreement with JTBC
Upcoming Chinese wuxia drama Zhan Zhao Adventures has confirmed its release date for May 13.
The drama tells the story of imperial guard Zhan Zhao, who is hunted down over evidence related to the unsolved case of the Prince of Xiangyang.
After being rescued by Huo Ling Long, he entrusts her with a blood letter. Together with her and Bai Yu Tang, he investigates a rebellion conspiracy. Together, they navigate incidents such as secretly investigating a salt smuggling case and cleverly obtaining a military tally map. In the end, they discover a pact for rebellion in a secret chamber in the Xiangyang Prince's residence.
Set during the reign of Emperor Ren Zong of the Northern Song dynasty, the series follows the storyline of Zhan Zhao, Huo Ling Long, and Bai Yu Tang working together to solve cases. It portrays the intertwining of martial-world chivalry and court political intrigue while exploring issues such as public versus private interests and emotion versus the law.
Zhan Zhao is a highly skilled, upright, selfless martial artist and an imperial guard. After receiving evidence related to an unresolved case left behind by an old friend, he sets out alone to search for the clues, only to face assassination attempts from various forces. Along the way, he meets Huo Ling Long, the young lady of Linglong Manor, as well as Bai Yu Tang.
The three like-minded individuals, after numerous life-and-death experiences, gradually draw closer to the truth behind the matter.
Yang Yang comes as Zhan Zhao, Zhang Ruo Nan as Huo Ling Long, Alen Fang as Bai Yu Tang, and Zhang Yu Xi as Zhang Yue Shi, among others.
