Mun Ka Young and Cha Eun Woo to possibly reunite for a new K-drama
Assassin(s) has unveiled new stills.
Assassin(s) follows the investigation into the suspicions and masterminds behind the assassination attempt on South Korea's First Lady on August 15, 1974. Blending historical records with unanswered questions and cinematic imagination, the film is a mystery investigation drama. It is reportedly the first film to dramatize this real-life case, exploring a true story that has never before been depicted on screen.
Yoo Hai Jin, Park Hae Il, and Lee Min Ho star as leads.
The stills capture the characters in their fierce pursuit of the truth. A still of Detective Cheol Gu (Yoo Hae Jin), drenched in sweat as he races toward the truth, hints at his relentless determination and desperate struggle.
Veteran reporter Jae Hwan (Park Hae Il), who firmly voices his convictions with a resolute gaze, and rookie reporter Young Il (Lee Min Ho), who remains unwavering even in the face of danger, demonstrate their strong passion and determination to uncover the truth.
In particular, the sight of the three gathered late at night as they retrace the circumstances surrounding the incident heightens anticipation for the intense and compelling acting synergy among Yoo Hae Jin, Park Hae Il, and Lee Min Ho.
Added to this are Dongseong Ilbo reporters Man Seop (Kim Dae Myung) and Yoon Hee (Ryu Hye Young), Kang Ja (Shim Eun Kyung), who welcomes Young Il, and Sang Pil (Park Hoon), a government official with a piercing gaze, further heightening curiosity about the taut tension and the intricately intertwined relationships between the characters.
