Curious about few plot points

I just finished the series and I’m still swooning from the aftermath!!

But I have a few questions. Does anyone know if these were addressed in the show?

1. Why did Sang Yan suddenly quit his first job?

2. Does Wei Yifan know that the mentor in the game she’s playing is actually Sang Yan?

if you are asking regarding the novel, 

- the 1st point is adressed in a extra chapter, where, after he saw her hopeless in yihe, he decided to go after her -- but he actually already had the bar, so the evening where he sees her (and where the story begins), he had just signed his resignation letter ~~~

- the 2nd point it's hard to deduce, we can only say she knew it was him due to her personality, since she usually don't opens herself to anyone... but i personally think they just gave an emphasis on the game-thing since they could use it as a tension point when she leaves for hong kong. 

but if you're asking if in the show these two points are clear... than they're not :( the countdown gives us a tip on the first point, but the second it's not very clear how she found out -- i guess she just knew it was him because who else could it be!!

I absolutely love the idea of Sang Yan quitting his job just to pursue Yifan. I mean, we already know how devoted he is, but this is taking it to the next level.

The whole game element, although a bit vague, was something I liked very much. In my mind, it's another example of him being there for Yifan, even when he is not, when she's lonely and vulnerable. By the way, does his username mean anything? I remember it started with Bai (but I can't quite recall the rest).

On a separate note, do you happen to know where I can read the novel in English?

His username "Bai Jiang" in the game actually has a meaning, it's shown as an episode's title although this depends on which platform you have watched from as Netflix didn't translate the titles. 

So basically, this is what his username meant:

Bai Jiang = 败江

败 = Bài means Lost/Defeated

江= Jiāng taken from Wen Yi Fan's nickname Wen Shuangjiang which is given by her father. 

to sum it up, his username means lost jiang but since the episode title always have an additional sentence for each episode ending, they meant Lost Jiang - Bai Jiang doesn't mean i'm a loser but I only lost to you, Wen Shuangjiang.
