Quantcast

Hello!! A few years ago, around 2020-2022  watched a Kdrama series and I just can't find the title. I have searched every detail I have but nothing seems to fit. I hope someone can help me with it. It's not 'love next door' or . Romance in the House or other serie. I keep getting wrong suggestions and Ive been looking for ages. I now realised it might be a very small budget or not very popular series.

Some things abt this series (hopefully someone recognises):

It was a Het romance possibly Chinese but pretty sure Korean
There was a rich guy who moved in next door (because of the girl)
It had very typical romantic scene’s
The light on the hallway broke and sm else
The girl lived 1st floor, I believe above a supermarket (I'm not 100% sure)
It was available on Netflix but my netflix never has korean series so it was extremely rare for it to be on.
Watched it around 2020-2022.
The girl has this living room that was kinda hippie ish with a very iconic couch (because I still remember it)
The girl had this unnecessary enthusiasm.

Guys I've been looking for a whole year now, I really wish to find it :3

is it Doona?
or
Bussiness Proposal?
or
Doctor slump?

do you remeber how the fl looked liked?

Not really, she had black long hair I think. And I just remember her having a bit of a cringey pick me personality

It's neither of those. I already searched them all up. In the beginning I thought it might be Doona but it isn't  :(

I also remember her being extremely poor

Ummm do you remember anything about the plot? Was there mystery? Or just pure rom-com, or romance, etc?

I'm thinking of Mad For Eachother based off of the hippie FL. And the ML lives next door. But he 's not rich, and didn't move there because of her.

If I'm going off on the ML moving next door because of the FL, I think of My Holo Love. The ML moves next door to investigate the FL. (If she had long black hair it's not this one..)

I don't quite think these titles are it.... But if you know any more details (like even what color the couch is) let me know!

If she's poor, then maybe  Shopping King Louis? The FL is poor, the ML loses his memory and ends up living with her. But he's actually a rich guy..

I don't know if that's it, but thought I'd throw it out there...

I honestly don't remember the plot. I kinda feel like she was rejected the mls feelings and that's why he moved in next door but I really don't remember it!! It's super frustrating tbh. I think it was pure romance not really much comedy. The only thing I just clearly remember is the ml moving next doors of her and the apartment was really small and breaking down a little. (of course it was good looking from inside the rooms) but there was this wooden stairs that looked on the verge of breaking. Sadly none of the once you mentioned are the series I'm looking for. I think the male lead was also a very hard working business man but again, im not sure. :(

I think the color of the couch was green xD

A few questions:

1.Did the woman have a small fluffy dog (carried around a lot)?
2.Was there a recurring psychiatrist / therapy thread?
3.Was the guy a CEO/chaebol type in suits, or more like a regular working guy (cop/detective/etc.)?

I’m wondering if it could be Mad About Each Other or A Love So Beautiful. I don’t think either quite fits, but maybe?

Or maybe, My Holo Love?  But you didn’t mention him being a hologram, so probably not. A few more questions:

  • Was the male lead very obviously rich / CEO / chaebol? (Constant suits, luxury apartment, expensive car?)
  • Why did he move next door? (Coincidence, revenge, contract, childhood connection, secretly liking her?)
  • Any other unusual character details? (Small dog, mental health theme, amnesia, fake marriage, superpower, time travel?)
  • What did the apartment/building look like? (Modern luxury tower vs older neighborhood / small building?)
  • Do you  remember a supermarket, convenience store, street market?

Do you remeber if it was 16 episode long or a family long 50-100 ep drama??

that sounds a lot like “dating in the kitchen” with zhao lusi
