Episode 16! Waaaah

Okay the countdown is on. This show has been ridiculous and I feel guilty for watching it… how about you?

What a ridiculous wrap to second couple, why bother with that whole roller coaster ride and then seriously that’s it! I liked the lead couple story but why bother with a second couple if that is how you end it, disrespect to fans, and I don’t care if that is how the manga story finished, I am super upset about this ending!

I don't find this show ridiculous at all? It's absolutely amazing, but alas, the ending is very rushed.  I wish there was a special episode covering all that was missed.

Genuinely curious, what about this series did you find "absolutely amazing", aside from the chemistry between the main leads?

Pretty much everything. The acting is fantastic, especially from the leads; the plot with deception and the psychology behind it is exceptional for both couples. I've never seen a long-term psychological game executed so well and with so many layers. The music is addictive - and I generally have a very complex relationship with music. The world-building is pretty solid despite the info dump in E1. The shift between the old and the new dynamic between Shaoyou and Hua Yong was portrayed masterfully: they found a good balance, and Shaoyou's reactions and his continued love made perfect sense to me.

Desire does have its issues, especially with pacing and the development of the second couple, but it's definitely done well, and to me, it's one of the best BLs I've ever watched - and my current favorite.

Well I honestly don't know how I feel about the final episode. The first half I loved because there was funny/loving moments between Hua Yong and Mr Sheng. Their acting together was just amazing and hope they do more together. 

Also loved the scene between Hua Yong and his relative was priceless. 

But then however the second half was very rushed in my opinion, there wasn't a lot of specific points for Shen Wenlang and Gao Tu's relationship and what happened rather than just a few quick scenes with very little words. 

Was expecting to see more into the pregnancies of both Mr Sheng and Gao Tu as well. Was a bit surprised to see the emotion in Hua Yong when Mr Sheng was rushed to the hospital but then nothing was shown as to exactly what happened and how things went. 

Was also surprised to see the odd relationship that Hua Yong has with his son. 

Do wish that the rumours going around about possible series 2 based on fan responses is true because there should be some flashbacks into what happened with the rushed scenes and between Shen Wenlang and Gao Tu and who knows maybe even a second pregnancy and some bonding between Hua Yong and his son that is truly lovely and heartwarming.

I came here just to have this discussion with like minded folks. That was such a scrappy ending. I am so offended.

Yes Me too feel it was a crappy ending to the second couple. We didn't even know what happened to them. HuaYong gave a hint while explaining about death execution to Peanut, but nothing gave an ending. I feel there may be special episode like how we got for other Thai BLs or may be a spin off series for the second couple.  Its good that I read the novel if not I will be wondering what just happened..!

Honestly I wish they hadn't given us the second couple at all in the series and just hint at it in the background like with kiss again/dark blue kiss, and then make a full series for all their moments instead of this. Also why TF was Hua Yong just planning to dump his kid with Shen "I hate children/omegas/joy" Wenlang. Like when has that man ever indicated that he's good at raising children

the ending is so crappy. at least another 30 minutes about Gao Tu's kid . wth was that?  seriously so offended too.  :/
