- In the Rundu City arc, He Yan fought with a sword for the first time. And to confuse the enemy, she wore a mask and 'pretended' to be General Feihong. Lol, she's pretending to be herself.
Note: Xiao Jue wasn't present during the war; he came near the end, so he didn't witness He Yan's swordmanship.
- Fast-forward to the day near their wedding day. Jiang Jiao comes to meet He Yan to give her a sword because he heard that He Yan was attacked by an assassin.
- He decided to give her a sword after witnessing her swordsmanship in Rundu City previously.
- But, at this time, He Yan wasn't at home because she had gone to investigate something
- So, Jiang Jiao passed the gift to Xiao Jue. Xiao Jue then asked why he gave He Yan a sword.

Excerpt from the novel:
Xiao Jue stared into his eyes. “How do you know that He Yan’s swordsmanship is exquisite?”

“It’s from when we were in Rundu before.” Jiang Jiao suddenly realised, “By the way, when Miss He used the sword, you, Commander, hadn’t arrived in Rundu yet, so you didn’t see it. - Then, Xiao Jue started to flash back to all his previous conversations with He Yan.
- But the final confirmation was when he 'ambushed' He Yan when she was on the way home.
- And he witnessed himself how good and similar He Yan's swordsmanship to his.
- During their academy year, it was Xiao Jue who guided He Yan in archery and swordmanship
- I'm not gonna spoil the dialogue, hahaha...
- But it was settled right there, I mean, there was no cold shoulder, fight or whatsoever
- This is the best moment...

XJ found out HY was investigating the He and Xu (her x-husband family). at this point the two of them are engaged and he got curious about why she's doing it even though they (He family and the ex family) don't share any history. Finally, before He Yan could, he managed to capture a witness (who watched her being murdered in the beginning of the book) and found out that General He Rufei was a female through her. This leads him to piece together some unexplainable events with He Yan and General He Ru Fei, Like her being able to fight very well, strategize military deployments, etcs. Basically things that a normal 16 shouldn't be able to do without years of experience, unless you have been a general before. Plus, he remembered how she told him during that she was a female general in her past life (during that time when they diguised themselves as  a married couple). around the same the same time, he found out through one of her comrades that she's a master with the sword (which XJ never witness) and was told how she pretended to be General He RuFei during one of the battle to trick the enemies. So XJ sent He Yan on a mission to the mountain and them ambushed her in a disguise to test out her sword skills. They fought and he recognized that lots of her moves are ones he taught her himself when they were back in school. So he confronted her right after and she didn't deny it.

This will definitely drag on until EP 24 or Rundu City arc...
In the novel, they experience misunderstandings because Xiao Jue believed He Yan liked Chu Zhao, and He Yan thought that the doctor was better suited for Xiao Jue....

Arc 24: Military Camp: The Matter of Heart 

And they'll probably reconcile in Rundu City...
Because there's indeed a war scene in the trailer where I can't recognise which one it is from...
And I think it was Rundu City...

Oh true.. now that you say it.. but shouldn't be after 25 because we see a sachet with a moon on it  airing calendar. And that was an important item in the novel.

I keep guessing about the moon pouch since yesterday when I edited the arcs...
Yes, I too feel like that pouch emoji comes too early...
So, my guess is this...

EP 23: He Yan learns what happened in Rundu City... Secretly left to Rundu and gave the pouch to Xiao Jue before leaving.
EP 24: The war and reinforcement come...
EP 25: Xiao Jue saw the moon inside the pouch... (That's why the emoji was on EP 25)

But that's only my guess... We can only wait for the trailers tomorrow... hehe...

I would go with all of this but we see swords crossed in 26 so.. the war will probably on 26.. but what is 24 then but in the other hand we have injury on 23-24.. could also be war... aaah man can't wait for Friday..  

Lol, I keep repeating all the trailers to see some hints...
And I think EP 26 has sword because He Yan & Xiao Jue will be ambushed otw to the capital after Rundu City arc...
Because in the trailer, one of He Rufei's dialogues was "I absolutely will not let her live and make it to the capital."

Argh... I need the trailers... All these guesses make me go crazy... Ahahaha...

Me too. They also have a wedding as well. I hope they don't wait until the last episode for that. Even more, I hope they don't rush the ending as some of the best moments are at the end.
