They haven't made a Renegade Immortal live action yet. All of my opinions stem from the donghua 3-D CGI animation produced by Tencent that's now over 100+ episodes:
ML of Renegade Immortal has roots in wood carving human figures (and also of mystical beasts). He has no siblings only himself as an only child. He is ruthless like Tang Lici.
FL of Renegade Immortal is a younger sister. She's not a strong female fighter aka Legend of Shen Li or Princess Agents, but a weak person like Miss A Shui.
Whispers of Fate (ending) is like ML of Renegade Immortal unmet his love interest and she goes back to being a younger sister to an older brother who perished in that alternate timeline.
Also, many times when I see A Shui on the screen, I super-impose the FL of Renegade Immortal onto her. Too often I thought to myself, that's not Miss A Shui, that's Wan'Er from Renegade Immortal. Their characters are too similar.
