Strange Tales - The story and nuance of this case is really good! I was engrossed in all the characters.
The Crying Woman at Chengfo Temple - This case hones in the continuity of season 2 for me. It makes the people/setting more authentic as we get to see the aftermath of what something might've looked like after the novelty has been long gone. Perhaps this is how circumstances give rise to myths and legends?
I put Kang's Gold Peaches and Baize in the same category. I appreciate these two cases adding to the overall political tension building in Chang'an. I'm interested to see how Lu Lingfeng will ultimately face his decision. It won't be pretty!
