You are right, but usually l work and l the episodes l can watch are limited..the ongoing stuff mostly (;><)
But days off and extra time can be used for those long dramas indeed!
Ah, then better wait until there's no airing drama you like. Especially with so many upcoming dramas that could drop anytime without prior announcement.
For me, I tend to be greedy and bite off more than I can chew. I definitely can't catch up with all drama I cw but I still plan to watch another upcoming drama that'll be released on 13, 14, 22, 28, and 31 July. I am creating my own problem...

Ah, I also avoid several dramas because of the review I read/listen. And you're right, the mother get away too easily, but the whole time she only wants the best for her children, it's just her mindset that's wrong, which is understandable since her education background, economic standing, and her staying at home most of the time makes her like that. Still, I also think many people dislike and drop the drama because of the mother.
I can relate, I get emotionally attached to the drama characters like I'm the hero/ine's best friend. I'm also cursing the villain to get the ending they deserve. I feel like a bad person for wishing some characters to just die.
Ankle bone fracture? It'll be like 2-3 months bed rest? It must be lonely.
Xiang Liu is just so cool and tragic, very memorable. All the time I cheer for him to get Xiao Yao.
