Thank you for the background info.  While your insightful archetypes sound like they would cover 90% of drama viewers, there might be different motivators for the remaining 10%.  Of those, I comprise the 1%.  Your proposed archetypes can broadly encompass the reasons I watch this genre as well.  Your blog post sparked a research topic for me, so thank you for pointing me in that direction.
