Hi! Can someone please spoil me in which chapter the romance between these two begins? I am currently reading the novel and  LJS has still no clue 🥴🥴

they kissed in Sister drum arc in the novel. of course it's not like super romantic way but i like to read it anyway, their story is definitely slow-burn one also

So, I've read it and Ruan flirts with Liushi from the beginning but they don't start dating until the very end of 105 (Literally ends with them getting together) and from 106 onwards they are dating.

i love the changes about doors in the show (the spirealm) more, they made every door in more humane way and stories more interestingly

Yes they make the doors more humane in Spirealm but for them to do so, they had to change why the doors exist and therefore could make the doors more humane because humans made them.  In the novel Kaleidoscope of Death, the doors are made by death gods and therefore they are less humane because they are made by entities that are not human.

As for the stories being more interesting, I would say that it depends on if you are a reader or not. Spirealm had to make the doors' stories more interesting because they had to omit other parts of the story.

The main thing to take away from both is that it is a fight for survival in all cases.

you deginitely well said that. On the contrary, I find Linlin cleverer (as IQ) and more capable about doors in the novel more than the show. We can see his progress step by step and how easily adaptative person he is. I'm at 70th chapter now, so it's early for me to say that but their relationship seems very distant in the novel also, RN acts so different in his male form but overall I'm totally in love with his dramatic and gentle side

I love RN in the novel way more. He's so dramatic about everything. And his jealousy towards himself is so funny.

I found Linlin way more adaptable in the novel than the show. He's also more realistic in the novel. He's horrified by the deaths but he cannot connect to them until it hits closer to home for him. The good thing is that the people who die in either one also dies in the other.

I'm totally in love with the chapter 77 and all the character developments and realisations in Chapter 78 just so perfect, I literally cried. I'm glad that I'm continuing to read the novel. with every chapter, it gets more beautiful

It really does. I personally think of the novel and show as two different stories because of how the concept of the doors were executed.  Spirealm is for the gamers. Kaleidoscope of Death is for those who like a good suspense horror.

hi, I just finished the novel and I'm on extra 2 and keep reading but I've some questions. Because everything happens at linlin's 12th door and RN is only present there, when RN comes back to reality, how everybody start to know him and how linlin lost his memory (because he spend like 4 years at his 12th door, his own reality disappeared or..?) and also Wuqi is real in the real world? because they didn't mention him (even he's dead) when linlin came back to real world. last question, I didn't understand drag part while reading, is linlin making drag, and RN took that habit from him? and why RN's come back takes 1 year?

but besides questions, I LOVEEE their relationship so much in the novel, it feels so natural, so real and their love is just so seen. I cried many times even while reading their lovely, fluffy scenes. And qianli's death hurts me more in the book, when they're in 11th door and linlin saw qianli, I started to cry so much. and dearest wuqi, his death was a shock to me.. and I didn't want sens this message without mentioning of linlin's iq, he's SO smart, so kind, he's really made for the doors

I ended up messaging you personally because the explanation was just so long.
