Double title round!!!

10 of your favourite summer dramas paired with your favourite winter dramas.

Eg.

Title (Summer) - Title (Winer): Why the pairing?

Pair them well. Bonus points for similar genres, tropes, actors other ways you think they go well together (that they are both simply brilliant, is also a good reason). Main theme is one must be set during the summer months (and be obvious about it), while the other is obviously set during winter months. Other than that, HAVE FUN!!

1. I Hear Your Voice (summer) - Pinnochio (winter): ML is played by same actor, similar themes of honesty, uprightness, seeking the truth, listening, etc.

2. Kieta Hatsukoi (summer) and Life: Senjou no Bokura (winter) - the first love theme is something they have in common, they're both brilliant of course, and when you put them together, there aren't a lot of similarities but something about these two dramas just scream familiarity. And look at them individually, the vibes scream summer and winter respectively.

Plus, the lead in Life: Senjou no Bokura has an extended cameo in Kieta Hatsukoi

3. Hidden Love (summer) and The First Frost (winter) were both written by the same web-novelist and were in the shared universe. FL in Hidden Love was the younger sister and ML was the older brother's best friend. While ML in The First Frost was the older brother.

4. Takara-kun to Amagi-kun (summer) displays a couple navigating through a very new relationship while Jack o' Frost (winter) is a long-term relationship and the challenges they face. Support actor Suzuki Kosuke (Katori) in Takara-kun plays one of the MLs (Fumiya) in Jack o'Frost.

5. Taikan Yoho (summer) - Old fashion cupcake (winter)

young vs older couple,  food plays in both an important role (curry/main course vs dessert)

6. Love O2O (summer) and Boss & Me (winter)

Both are written by the same web-novelist, but well actually Boss&Me may be filming during autumn and winter since in the beginning it's not snowing yet. Both storyline are pretty light-hearted with little conflict, but there's a break-up scene in Boss&Me (during depressing winter). Both FL's name is a repetition of one Chinese alphabet (mentioned in novel titles); Wei Wei ('s one smile is very alluring) and Shan Shan (comes to eat).

7. Summer Strike (summer) and When the Weather is Fine (Winter)

Both are slow burn slice of life romances, the female leads in both the dramas leave busy city life and move to the countryside and both the male leads work with books(one is a librarian, the other works in a bookstore) and both the dramas are comfort kdramas <3

8. Hidden Love (summer) and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love (winter)

Both are sweet and fluffy dramas with green flag MLs, the relationship between the leads in both is non-toxic and with little to no misunderstandings, both have a little age gap between the leads (ML older than FL).

9. Hometown Cha Cha Cha (summer) and Our Blues (winter)

Both the dramas are set in seaside towns, Shin Min Ah is the FL in both the drams, both are healing dramas but Our Blues deals with slightly heavier subjects.

10. The K2 (summer) - Love Scenery (winter). I like both dramas so I posted them here.

TNP can choose a topic.

Let's continue with the Double title theme then :)

10 titles where you went 'Wait.. I've seen this before..'

Basically two titles where in one of them, they recreate or very obviously reference a scene from the other. I would prefer if it was a recreation of a scene rather than just a name drop of the other drama, but if the topic stalls, we can include those as well

1. Strong woman do bong soon / Strong girl namsoon - The scene in SGNS when FL carried ML princess style, a recreation of when that happened in SWDBS

2. Temptation of Wolves and Seoul Busters

One of the detective in Seoul Busters attempted to recreate Kang Dong Won's signature smile under the umbrella from Temptation of Wolves iirc. Correct me if I remember wrong.
