4. I'm a Pet at Dali Temple - now this seems to be everyone's interpretation of the ending, which I also thought when I watched, but it was stupid. FL sends ML to present day (modern times) where she is now a baby that he finds and is going to raise. Now remember that this is a romance drama, so the implication at the end that he was going to raise his love interest was so bad.

5. A Journey to Love -  everyone dies!!! EVERYONE! 6 main characters, been through thick and thin and they just all die in the last episode. For what?? To give viewers heartbreak? It was not even necessary for the plot.

I don't know the source material so I can't say if they followed it or not but the deaths were so unnecessary to finish the story that I not only felt it was sad but it was unsatisfactory because yes they all died but for what??? Rant over! :P

5. Her Private Life - the very ending was good (wrap up part) but childhood connection trope in the final episode was absolutely out of place and ruined their story for me. It could be a refreshing beautiful, mature romance of two poeple who met and healed each other, shared passion and all that, but no, writers had to stay loyal to cliches

OMG pet peeve with all the childhood connection stuff. I recently wrote in one of the drama clubs that based on this trope, I have missed out on any hope of a romantic life since I was 7 years old *rolling eyes*

Same with Love Scout too. Just why???

sometimes it's justified and also feels natural, but not in any drama ugh

and all those stories like we were in love at 7 and now after 25 years we still in love because there was not any developmant and we froze at the same stage and never changed as people...

seriously, I look back at my school's crushes and don't want any of them as my hubby lol

7. Unforgettable Love

The ending was rushed. The one planning for ML's brother and sister in-law's car accident was a relative who never made appearance like eh who? never heard of him, only name being mentioned in that like 3 minutes scene. While I spent the whole time guessing the criminal, forgetting that it's a rom-com.

8. The Disguiser

I found Liu Min Tao's character's last minute death was unexpected and unneccessary, but yeah it perfectly described the agony of living in war era. And iirc Hu Ge's character still forcefully being pushed into the train leaving his beloved big sis' dying body.

Let me add one lol. I have tons where the ending has been totally unsatisfactory but I'll go with..

10. I Feel You Linger In The Air

That was a relatively happy ending by all means, him meeting Yai's descendant who sort of carries Yai's memories and knows of their love story in the past? It was brilliant. This was the person who had hired him to work on the old house, it was all set up from the beginning, it was perfect.

Only problem? None of this was actually revealed in the series itself. I had to go on a wild goose chase to find that this was the ending of book 1, which brings me to my next point.

Where is the sequel they set up??!

Back then only Nonkul Chanon teased the sequel but the producer and Bright stopped him from talking iirc. But then he dated his female co-star from the C-drama remake (the one with Earth Pirapat) so I guess there won't be a second season. Instead they release a special episode (which I ptw but haven't watch).

Won't you decide the new topic?

Lol I am still desperate for a second season, the special episode is on my list as well but what about my promised sequel??

Thanks for reminding me about the next topic!

10 movies/dramas where one of the leads says they want something, but can't get it, and then the other lead gets it for them as a gift

No, no, I don't think it was promised. Nothing was decided, the producer said. But indeed the extra? post-credit? hinted about the second book's adaptation.

1. Hidden Love - doll from claw machine, strawberries, love? 😅

Promised is an exaggeration on my part lol, that set up in the post credits scene is what I'm clinging onto 😅🤣

2. Love Game in Eastern Fantasy - FL wanted to get a decor with pearls but she couldn't afford it, the ML buys it for her

3, Ancient workplace, love handbook - sweets in the marketplace. She couldn't afford them, he got them for her later :)
