10. Hospital Playlist - Ik Jun and Joon Wan ^^

These two actors are really good at building chemistry.

The next person can choose

10 Movies/Dramas that have a movie version & a drama version but you liked/preferred only one of those versions.

1- The Beauty Inside: Liked the movie because changing was daily not weekly like the drama. Also preferred the actors in movie over the drama.

Ahn Sarang:
if leads from My Rommate Is a Detective had great chemistry, it doesn't fit my request... You may keep it as a bonus though :)

Thank you! This is a fun game, and I like engaging with you! Your request reads "in which male leads have a better chemistry with each other than any of them does with FL," and My Roommate Is a Detective does fit, because the detective and the inspector are hotter together than the ML and the FL. Perhaps you meant to imply that any FL-related chemistry should be nonexistent? But your request doesn't imply that.

I prefer the movie, too

Journalist....I prefer the movie, too

So glad! Found a handful of dramas/movies where one I liked & other I didn't, so wondered if other MDLers experienced this too.

2. Love O2O/Just One Smile is Very Alluring

Love the drama version. While Wei Wei in movie version fit the novel more, the movie is too short and rushed.

3. Eternal Love/Once Upon a Time/Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms

Prefer drama version, movie version is too short. Yang Yang looks flawless as always in the movie though.

4. More than Blue

Taiwanese drama version (More than Blue: the Series) is the most heart-wrenching version. Love it the most. And ofc I never skip listening its OST/the ending song from Eric Chou.

Autumn Iris - Sooo agree w/you on Love 020 & Eternal Love. Haven't seen More than Blue so might need to add those to my watch list.

It's available on Netflix if you look for legal site. If you like it, you could also check the original version, the Korean movie with Kwon Sang Woo who has the saddest eyes I ever see. Oh, there's Jo Jung Suk's eyes too...^^

I like the drama version but also prefer the movie. ^^

5) Perfect World - I prefer the drama version. They are actually adapted from a manga series. The story in the drama is much deeper, heavier, more realistic and serious.

Oh, no, I didn't mean nonexistent chemistry, just average/awkward/whatever you want but definitely not great one :)

But everyone has different perception, that's understandable

6 Masquerade and its remake The Crowned Clown

Liked the drama version better. The two have same premise and are two different stories. The movie is too short, the drama is more detailed, has multiple plotlines and just not rushed. Plus, in the movie the queen feels like a side character while in the drama she's FL.

Oh, and drama has so beautiful soundtrack! Main characters' themes (based on Schubert's Serenade)live rent free in my head

One can watch two titles as independent stories without getting afraid to spoil the plot as they are absolutely different

Wow, I watched both, but I didn't know that it's the same story. Didn't in the movie the two men, king and the subtitute, fight each other until death? While in The Crowned Clown, the king was killed by his right hand? Did I remember it wrong? Anyway the movie had excellent cinematography and the drama highlighted the psychological theme more, so that it's a bit bittersweet. I think I also prefer drama version.

Was the spoiler tags not working? So sorry.

I can't edit or delete my post either right now, when I try pressing the button, it directing me to my profile.

I think it's because some of the text is bold. I once had to edit my text because I wanted some words crossed, but it didn't work alongside spoilers.
