Right on.
2 - Healer

Ahn Sarang:
I didn't watch the other two dramas but I've heard something about them. If there are situations in there like I mentioned above, for example, ML reads someone's thoughts, warns FL to not contact this person because it's dangerous and she actually keeps away from that person, it fits.
In I Hear Your Voice, they work like a team in the courtroom, where the ML reads thoughts and signals the FL so she knows how to proceed. So you see trust, and they work well together. But that specific situation, of the FL in danger and following the ML's instructions, rather than disobeying, I don't remember that happening. Although in the final crisis, the fact that they share a deep trust and moral compact makes them stronger. One character acts on a vow, which might be considered an instruction of a kind. I wouldn't count it here, because it goes beyond reversing the damsel in distress trope. But as a side note, if you're looking for a drama that stands that trope on its head and then some, you might like I Hear Your Voice.
3 - As far as Happiness goes, what about her final, major choice in Episode 12? I seem to remember her honoring his wishes about which action she should take, with a lot hinging on the outcome? The spoiler tag doesn't work, so hopefully this doesn't give too much away: it's partly for her to stay safe, and partly to save others. And in an earlier episode, I think in one of their fighting side by side moments, he tells her to get behind a door and she does it. That's what I love about their partnership -- they're both on mission and it's not about rigid protector and protected roles, but rather about them both being on the same tactical page.
4 - Flower of Evil - she's really strong, and a kickass detective, and I think there are a couple of examples of her doing what he says because she's being strategic. The leads are sometimes in conflict, and sometimes in sync against danger, but she always has her mind on the game. I think some of the time she does what he says, and some of the time she doesn't, but she never does the damsel in distress thing.
P.S. Thanks for setting my mind at ease.
