5. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay-
(사이코지만 괜찮아 literal: She’s a psycho but it’s okay. / You’re a psycho but it’s okay./I'm a psycho but it's okay/Even if you're a psycho, it's okay)
This one made me laugh. The English version is more poetic i guess

6.Under the Queen's Umbrella -
(슈룹 literal: Umbrella)
The English one captures the spirit of the show as a whole. The FL truly shields her royal family beautifully.

7.Stranger- (비밀의 숲 literal: The Secret Forest / The Forest of Secrets)
I think the show was called Stranger in English due to the ML's inability to connect with human emotions or read social cues. He was also the literal new guy in town and was a stranger to the deceptive human behaviour he faced there. The Korean translation also makes sense as a metaphor considering the hidden web of lies and corruption the characters find themselves in.I'm not sure which is better but I'm leaning to the Korean version.

@_Shinigami_ Actually Goblin is the unofficial name. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God is the official name. Goblin was a shorter, easier name for viewers to use, so it became the most widely known name even if it is not the official name. I prefer Goblin too btw. The official title just sounds too sad for me.

8. Rebirth vs Legend of Long Yang - I like Legend of Long Yang better. This was the title the director (or was it a producer?) had used when it was released on their official YouTube channel. Plus, the movie is inspired by the historical figure Long Yan, so that title makes it easier to tell who the story is about.

8) Legend of a Female Genderal - Original title: 錦月如歌 - Literal Meaning: “The Moon Shines Like a Song”

I prefer the original title, because it sounds more focused on the romance of the leads, and the male lead’s name sounds familiar with “the moon” which is an important detail of the drama. I think the English title is pretty misleading, as the story isn’t about the journey of the female lead as a general.

9) Perfect Match - Original title: 五福临门 - Literal Meaning: “May the Five blessings descend upon this home/the door”.

I prefer the original title. It’s actually a famous Chinese idiom. The English title focuses on getting a perfect match for the characters, I think the original title focuses on the happy family theme, which is the spotlight of the drama. Also, the name of the 5 main characters (5 Li daughters) are named after the Five blessings in East Asian culture.

10) Autumn’s Concerto (Taiwanese drama) - Original title: 下一站，幸福 - Literal Meaning: “Next Stop, Happiness.”

The English title has nothing to do with the drama at all. I don’t know who titled that one. The original title is about hoping for a brighter future. And the bus stop is an important detail of the drama and I think it also plays the role of a metaphor throughout the drama. As this is a melodrama, it fits more.
