Agreed on the tags! Weightlifting Fairy being considered an RR drama was so disappointing to me back when I first started watching dramas that I almost gave up on kdramas 😂 It's why I started my recommendation list. Tigers Sniff the Rose one drama I am ADAMANT on keeping up with because it’s just SO GOOD! The plot is so interesting, most of the characters are so nice to look at (lol), and the RR is so thorough 😫 Meng Ziyi is really bringing the role reversal aura for this drama lmaooo
Believe me, I'm sacrificing sleep to keep up, and watching episodes at all sorts of odd hours lol. I haven't been this locked into a drama since the beginning of the year, and the commitment to the RR is making me emotional.
Meng Ziyi has improved so much! It's something I immediately noticed at the start of the drama.

Same!!! I've been watching non-stop 😆 It's so good! The RR is delivering constantly, I love how they've committed to it and the story is great. I reread the novel before the show came out and I really like some of the changes they made, because it feels like the director/writers really understand the characters!
I hope it stays this good to the end!! ❤️
This week's been kind of crazy, but I'm slowly catching up! It's so freaking good!!! I'm probably gonna end up posting a couple of long reviews gushing later.

Soooooo.....I'm not too proud to take things back. I watched episode 3 and I love her 😂 This episode was a real turning point for me because I wasn't really vibing with the first two. But the plot's starting to thicken, the ML continues to be a bizarre delight, and his chemistry with FL is pretty cute!
It's also leaning more RR than I initially thought:

Mainly I really like seeing women characters who are styled in masc ways lol!
I feel you! And we've certainly come a long way since the casting/styling in the original Hana Kimi live action.
I know right! I'm cautiously hopeful because they're really leaning into his adoration of strong and chivalrous women heroes 👀 and the way they've written FL is giving her some great moments of exactly that! ML is such a weirdo lol I'm enjoying him. I like their dynamic and chemistry a lot so far!

The Princess Royal? It's definitely RR! FL is very dominant and domineering and though ML isn't exactly submissive, he does yield to her pretty much all the time and nags her like a wife 😂 And yeah, not to mention the fact that he's her consort. I really enjoyed this drama (except for that one scene...)
