But! I am very impressed by your 108 BLs! I don't have nearly so many but I watch a lot of them for sure, especially Thai these days, though I am behind on basically everything.

Also Xu Kai! He's so cute! And he plays confused and hapless so well. I am enjoying SaHPH although I could do with less of the women v. women office politics and stuff. But the main couple together is so great, I especially love how he supports her. (I far prefer RR when they're both clearly *into* it.)

And Colorful Love is super adorable! Definitely that hypercolored big-emoting style of jdrama, but it fits with the setting. Main couple is super RR, not totally clear how the second couple will shake out just yet.

Yeah, I completely get you. It's hard to find RR dramas that aren't comedy- It's definitely a pet peeve of mine. Like I'll take any cute RR I can get but it'd be swell for it to not be exclusively slapstick T_T The trope seems to be becoming more popular though so I think we'll be getting more!

I clearly don't pay attention to what I'm doing. The amount of anime I have seen that is considered a harem and the amount of manga I've read in the early 2000s that are reverse harems are ridiculous * Facepalm*; apparently I only paid attention to the pretty men and women, not the words on the page or the subtitles 😭😂⚰️

In my opinion, I would add Reverse Harem to the RR tags, but I wouldn't necessarily add Noona unless it was combined with another RR tag. Noona is such a broad tag that, it can fit into a whole bunch of other tags that would be non-RR related, and that could get too messy. That's why I thought of making a Noona club because I do feel that tag does stand on its own, there are so many out there. But maybe somewhere down the line if another MDL user doesn't make one first. Secretly, I hope someone steps up to the plate because I don't think I can handle a side quest and a full-on club. LOL

I don't think a reverse harem means a role reversal because the heroine can still be very stereotypical. 

The reverse harem begins at 4 love interests for the heroine. The Harem begins at 4 love interest for the hero.

This is definitely the best way to think about it! I get impatient sometimes because my viewing list is so long - also I have a bad habit of starting a new drama at the drop of a hat, so then I look up and I'm in the middle of 10 different shows, oops. 😅

I had never heard of the first two shows you listed, so that's really exciting! I will have to add them to my list. Encounter is already on it, and I read some of the manga of Kimi wa Petto but I haven't watched the show(s) - the manga for me was a little too focused on having her still think she wanted a guy who was more impressive than her, but I have been meaning to at least check out the drama!

 Oh, I completely understand, my watchlists are monsters! I've got three stacked up, each with over 100 dramas and films, and it’s just ballooning like my snack cravings during the holidays. At this rate, I’m gonna need at least 10 lifetimes to even think about catching up!

My watchlist is practically begging for mercy, and my on-hold list is overflowing. So, I decided to pick up "The Spring-Cleaning Watch Challenge" to try and trim the fat. You know, out with the old, in with the new! But let’s be real, every time I finish something, I just add more titles. 😅
