Had some free time so I watched the next ep of AALS UwU The audio and subtitles cut for about a min here and there and I couldn't find it subbed ANYWHERE so I guess it must be an official cut :I

1. I definitely think that the cutie pookie general is FL's brother 'cause there's no way that he'd speak so casually to her otherwise (confirmed they have the same last name so I am RIGHT HAHA). Which would make the young af prime minister both their father and that just makes his betrayal in ep 1 all the worse.... o-o (this I'm still unsure about cuz he doesn't have their last name... but SML called him father soooo idk anymore). Also what's their relationship to the emperor? Why are they scheming in his bedroom? FL is the empress in the first ep but I am confusion

3. "Y'all be stressed af, let me play some music about it" Girl, I respect the hustle but also what? That came out of nowhere xD

7. Yooooo, the secret message in song is SO COOL!!! Still think the transition from them talking politics to her playing a song feels goofy xD 
8. YES, I WAS RIGHT!!! Pretty general boy dies in the future!! But now ML is meddling with the timeline so maybe he'll be saved. Side quest unlocked! (but probably not for long cuz he's still dead in ep 1.... AW SHOOT)
9. That sheer curtain ain't doing a single thing to hide bixia being playful and sleepy on that throne, LMAO
10. I'm living for Shenbo not being good at everything. God, it's so refreshing in the sea of bland mary-sue MLs xD Also in the sea of mary-sue MCs in a transmigration stories in general. 
    1. AND SHE SAVES HIM FROM FALLING OFF THE HORSE- AAAAAA I swoon 🥺
    2. "I won't ask for your help even if I have to crawl" Immediately cuts to him riding with her. Amazing!!!! Role reversed horseback/motorcycle/etc rides have to be of my fav tropes to reverse. It's played for laughs here which stripped us from cool slowmo lovey-dovey shots but I'll take it... this time.... I still love it xD
11. I can FEEL the agonizing friction burns Shenbo must have.... First time horse riding in casual clothes? DIABOLICAL!!!! Bro isn't gonna walk 😭
12. Not FL's maid side-eying Shenbo like all the time

20. The squad having a lil nighttime picnic before the battle is super cute

23. Wait wait wait wait wait- so they met even BEFORE the 10 year gap? and she was pretending the WHOLE TIME?!? But they're meeting again here so what's different? She mentions him not knowing this time around... did he get amnesia or is this time travel mind-bending ish?
    1. ALSO, if here FL already knows that ML is from the future and all that ish then that means that they had all this time to plot and plan with future knowledge and... she still dies in the end... Oh, I fear this will be a tragedy, besties
       
24. OH NO, seeing things from her perspective is heartbreaking!!! SHE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR HIM FOR OVER A DECADE, GOD DANG THAT'S BRUTAL-

This FL reminds me a lot of the FL from Secret of Three Kingdoms in more than a couple of ways. Hell even the ML and FL's dynamic reminds me of that drama, haha (everything is reminding me of that drama... *wistful stare*)

• I was initially confused about why Lu Yuan would ignore Shi's worries about the citizens' struggles. Then I realized she might be trying to deceive Li Yong. Or perhaps, in this time in history, she still doesn't realize that the Prime Minister is a danger to her people. I might need to rewatch the first and second episodes since it's been a while, and the timeline and events are a bit hard to remember.
• Once again, the fact that no one in the other room is catching a single word from the emperor and Shen. Seriously, these two are not exactly keeping it low-key! Even with Lu Yuan playing her song. LOL!
• Is the emperor cuddling up with a massive catball? 😭
• There are indeed some scenes lacking sound or subtitles. It seems like that might have been an editing oversight.
• Oh, right! This is the moment in their timeline when she hasn't crossed paths with him yet.
•  Seriously, his way of confronting her for top-secret information ...  be discreet! No grasp on messing up historical events in time!  🤦🏻‍♀️
• Oh, that's so cool, Morse code through Music
• Shi appears to be so driven by his desire to assist his people and seek vengeance that he may not realize when he is being cornered. What confuses me is the Prime Minister's true intentions. In the previous episode, he mentioned the necessity of collaborating with their adversary for survival, but that came later in the timeline. What, then, is his original objective in this situation?
• So Li Yong plans to kill his son and give a portion of the land to Beilie, all while trying to gain sympathy from his people and portray himself as a just ruler to secure his position on the throne? Am I understanding this correctly? 🤔
•  Shen being so hell-bent on inserting himself into historical events. Is he going through all this hassle just to get some accurate details for a book? I mean, is a little cash worth the risk? I get that he’s not cool with making up history for the public, but come on, that doesn’t justify putting himself in constant danger. And let’s be real, he can’t even claim he’s doing it for our heroine since they’ve barely interacted or have a romantic history at this point. It’s mind-boggling how chill he is about all this—it just doesn’t make any sense!🤨 🤯
• These poor soldiers are heading into combat for a leader who knowingly places them in danger for his own gain 🤧
• Lu Yuan: "I can carry you if you can't ride" Shen: "no, I won't ask for your help even if I have to crawl" Lu Yuan said OK, I don't have time for that, get on the back of the horse!😂😂😂
• As Shen records these facts for his new book, I wonder how he intends to persuade the public of the authenticity of these historical events, especially since he has no evidence to back up his claims.
• What if Shen can't die multiple times ? Consider the possibility where he is fully integrating into the history period. In this scenario, if his present self were to perish in the past, it could lead to a permanent death in both periods. There's no way of him knowing if this would happen or not, so he's kind of just winging it.
• No, the sound cut off right when they're explaining what's going on and how they know each other  😭😭😭 I had a feeling Lu Yuan was up to something.
• I absolutely adore that shot of her on the horse in the military uniform! She looks like such a powerful boss girl!

My answer to episode 3.

Yes I also feel it will be a tragedy. But I hope it is not. They have to find a way to break the loop. They can do it if the find the solution to this riddle. If I may say. It reminds me of "Lovesickness". It was the same setting for the plot. I hope we will have a happy ending.

Yes she has been waiting for a decade. Amazing. But she still wants to keep everything secret, not to influence the future. 

I like those time loop dramas, but I hope she finds the key to break that dommed destiny.

I always found role reversed dancing, especially partnered dancing to be so beautiful! But it is indeed very gender role focused which is a shame. Kinda what's been putting me off from taking classes, lol xD 

Like you said, the best thing you can do is be comfortable with yourself and be clear about your wants. The right people will naturally come in due time ^^

Drama does seem interesting and is getting pretty high praise so maybe it'll be a contemporary cdrama I actually commit to when winter comes ^^ Thanks for the recc!
