• "these two are not exactly keeping it low-key!" - Seriously!! It's like part of the same room seperated by some thin af walls. Shenbo and the emperor can hear them but not the other way around? Bruuuhhh
• "Is the emperor cuddling up with a massive catball?" - I believe this is a toy ball xD I've seen children play with things like it in other dramas but who knows
• "editing oversight." - To me it seems like censorship (not sure why but it rarely makes sense, let's be real) but it is possible 
• "No grasp on messing up historical events in time!" - I call him Shenbo for a reason xD No thoughts, head empty 
• "What confuses me is the Prime Minister's true intentions" - Same xD I've come to not really expect much from the political intrigue of mini dramas so I'm mostly focused on the rest
• "Am I understanding this correctly?" - BAHAHAHAHA when you put it like that, it's hilarious! 
• "Shen being so hell-bent on inserting himself into historical events." - Yeah, the idea that he's doing all this for a book just doesn't feel like quite enough... His motives seem weak atm, especially BECAUSE he's a historian. Though IG Indiana Jones has done dumber stuff so *shrugs*
• "Lu Yuan said OK, I don't have time for that" - We stan an assertive no-nonsense queen!
• "especially since he has no evidence" - A very valid and sharp observation! Makes his motives seem even dumber T_T 
• "so he's kind of just winging it." - I don't think he's ever even stopped to think about it for a minute... 
• "the sound cut off right when they're explaining" - I KNOW!!! I WAS SO PISSED!!! 
• "She looks like such a powerful boss girl!" - 100% agree!! She's killing it!

• "episode one is a bit of a blur for me." - Same here xD I was admittedly quite lost during ep 3 
• "her dad or uncle wants to be in involved with her" - They really enjoy making villains be into incest, huh... 
• "Does he have a side gig as a music expert" - I'M CRYIIIIINNGGGG!! XD It's a common trope for transmigration stories where it kinda seems like due to the transmigration the person travelling obtains certain abilities, commonly eidetic memory and also a dash of having the same knowledge as google xD It's why so many transmigration MCs feel so mary-sue, 'cause they're good at pretty much everything. I was actually discussing this with my brother recently since we're watching Joy of Life which is where I drew these parallels that MCs seem to obtain powers from the transmigration. Though in JoL it actually seems intentional and is fairly well-addressed while in most other transmigration stories it seems to merely be poor writing/a writing oversight and not actually intentional. Why one would write a transmigration story where the person travelling is essentially a god but then not do anything interesting with it, is beyond me. Like, what's the point of it being a generic person? Is it just the usual idea that the average contemporary person is more intelligent and more capable than people from the past? If so then why do they need superpowers to make this point? I don't understand.

• "she's practically sending out the bat signal right there." - Yes thoooooooo T_T Even if she would've just kinda slipped away and done so without announcing it to the general and the prime minister it wouldn't have been as sus. 
• "Oh, why is it that the gorgeous guys always end up taking a hit in battle?" - Augh, ikr??? pretty boys shouldn't go out to war, marry rich and become a trophy husband or smth, pls

• Lu Yuan fighting and kicking ass while Shen just stands there bamboozled xD (fav dynamic fr)
  • not him asking "Can we just sit down and talk it out?" little pacifist pookie :3 don't worry, your wife will take care of it 
• Um but could they calm down with the flickering light effects -_-
• Oooh is he back in the present? It's this a time loop sort of thing?
• OMG the change in the book. This will be interesting!!
• When the jade has repaired from five pieces to four... does he only have a fixed number (four, three?) of times he can travel back
  • "Shen is applying super glue to a historical artifact.🫣" – and he's supposed to care about this period in history so much!

The family dynamics are confusing me, I need a family tree T_T So FL is the sister of the general and the stepdaughter of the prime minister" – my subtitles said "second father" (so I was like what?) and then "adoptive father" (that's different from a stepfather, right?), I think him adopting her makes more sense?
• not both Shen and Yuanqi gagging at the prime minister xD

• "THE INTRO!" - Yes, saaaame, elevates the entire drama
• "The old lady will definitely be important in the future, right?" - Most likely
• "The way Shen went back in time was really so smooth" - ABSOLUTELYY!!! One of my favourite scenes, like goodness, it was so well done!! 
• "FLs dressing in red and MLs being in white clothes..." - You make a valid af point. MLs are commonly dressed in black when the FL is in red 
• "Ofc there is always delicous looking food in a drama when I'm hungry..." - Wayyyy too real 
• "Not Lu Yuan making a curfew mandatory so she could walk alone with him in the streets." - OMGGGG, I hadn't even noticed this the first time around. What an absolute icon!! I love it when FLs do grand gestures, aaaaaaaa
• "Is he her biological son?" - I forgor T_T
• "it's the moustache and goatee for me :D" - Those definitely do help xDDD
• "Like it doesn't look cheap at all." - The quality is INCREDIBLE!!!

I'm not a huge fan of Viki and now I can't even watch the free stuff on there without making an account so hell naw to that XD

How will we be proceeding with Bound by Sin and An Ancient Love Song btw? Should we set an ep commitment for BbS? 1 ep a week? More? Less?

Should we then lower AALS to 1 ep a week too or keep it as is but just add BbS? Or do we put BbS on hold until we finish AALS?

1 episode a day was good for me. I think we were waiting for new comers to catch up. Because it will take for ever if it is 1 episode a week. I jus need to know that we an go on. I am ready. 

I also wait for you all to give your feedbacks.
