1 episode a day was good for me. I think we were waiting for new comers to catch up. Because it will take for ever if it is 1 episode a week. I jus need to know that we an go on. I am ready.

1 episode a day might be too much for folks with busy schedules though, which is why we were keeping the commitment level low. Since BbS's episodes aren't too long we can maybe do 3-4 eps per week so we still make steady progress ^^

I thought I had already caught up with the episodes we were watching, but I'm one behind. I was waiting for us to move on to the next episode, but you guys are waiting for me. oops

Bound by Sin - Episode 4

• Why is Dong Yang acting surprised that Ying Xian is meeting with  Fu Cheng? She openly declared her interest in him. He practically gave her the green light to find a new toy. Was he trying to call her bluff? She called him a worthless arm candy in the last episode to his face. LOL ● Obviously, he knows her side hustle because he's already assuming that they have something going on, and this is their second time meeting. When you know, you're on the side piece, but you're still going to try and seize control. *Chuckles*
• ● Ying Xian has these handcuffs just lounging on a tree for all her guests to gawk at. No way that budget sugar daddy missed that on his way out. This chick is anything but discreet! I love it 😂😂😂
• What a striking depiction of temptation! Fu Cheng is bound to the tree of knowledge, wrestling with his desire to reach for the forbidden fruit. The contrasting hues of green and red is a perfect use of color to illustrate the eternal struggle between innocence and lust.
• Oh my god, this chick has a way with words " Two hours. You have a lot of stamina." 😂🪦
• Wordplay aside, my heart truly goes out to Fu Cheng. This man just wants money to help his sister. He likely suffers from PTSD due to his experiences and related to his family. All he wants is some clarity, yet our queen seems to be playing with him.
• Oh, I can't contain my giggles! He looks like he's just bitten into a lemon, completely disgusted by her. And there she is, grinning like she just won the lottery, all because he’s got a grip on her.🤡 In his head, he’s probably screaming, "I can't deal with these folks!" But just wait until he finally lets loose and spills all that pent-up emotion—it's going to be a delicious spectacle!
• Can we just take a moment to appreciate this totally mismatched soundtrack? I mean, it’s all swoon-worthy and romantic, while he’s over there fuming like a volcano ready to erupt. Talk about a dramatic contrast! 🤦🏻‍♀️
• For a hot second there, when he strolled out the door cradling her, I seriously thought he was about to drop her right on her backside! LOL!
• Ying Xian: "Guys are always showering me with flowers. Honestly, I have no clue where they came from." Fu Cheng: "These are the ones your man gifted you earlier, right?" *Rips the petals off the stem with a flair of drama.* "Now that’s how you assert your dominance and show some serious resistance, LMAO!" 😎😂😂
• I hope she pays for his doctor's bill because the amount of time he has to lift her, he’s bound to end up with some major back issues. Someone get this guy a chiropractor, stat!
• Did I understand that right? Please tell me they aren't planning to include an incest storyline. I truly can't bear to see another series go down that path. If they do, I'm done... 🫡 I sincerely hope they steer clear of it. There are so many other ways to bring shock value to a show.
• Dong Yang is that classic main character who's just bursting with self-importance, convinced that every woman is head over heels for him. Heaven forbid she might not be interested and is just in it for the benefits! No, no, she must be green with envy instead.🤡🤡  Seriously, this guy is so out of her league intellectually, yet he’s completely oblivious to her utter lack of interest. He genuinely believes he can dominate this strong woman—what a total joke! 
• What’s making this girl so misty-eyed? Seriously, the whole town is aware that he’s a well-known player, and let’s be real, he’s not even a sophisticated one. Did she honestly believe she could be the exception to his rule? Please, darling, if he wants to dress you up like Barbie, then own it! Be the Barbie and snag all those outfits for yourself!
• She claims she’s not a playgirl, but let’s face it—those so-called pastimes of hers? Isn’t that basically the textbook definition of a playgirl? 🫢 🤔
• Oh my goodness, these two are totally caught up in a spy game, and I am here for it! They’re both on a mission, snooping around and digging up dirt on each other simultaneously. It's pure entertainment! 💋
• 'I don't know which one of us is the prey in the end' and there you have it—the central theme of the series laid bare.
• Is Fu Cheng really juggling the roles of bodyguard for both Xu Yawei and Ying Xian at the same time? Did he actually sign a contract, or is he just testing the waters with our leading lady? And just to set the record straight, the woman sprawled out on the couch—she's the drug addict we met in the first episode, correct? Or is he now playing protector for yet another lady? Seriously, How many women has this poor man in their clutches?
• Ying Xian "Honey, I'm not some low-budget sugar mama! Just take my cash and hand over the bodyguard!"
• Fu Cheng looking hella confused that Ying Xian would pay a grand for him. What kind of game is this girl whipping up now? Haha!

This episode had me in stitches! The sheer amount of chaos is off the charts, and I’m totally here for it. I can hardly wait for the next installment!

« I cuffed you so you really didn’t move? » : the game she plays is hard on him. Status + revenge. It is difficult for how sweet ML.

Who is the prey, who is the hunter? They both wonder. It is sweet to see that they are falling in love without them knowing it at the same time.

He wants to dominate her by inducing her jealousy and leveraging her insecurities. He is not successful at this game. 

"The contrasting hues of green and red is a perfect use of color to illustrate the eternal struggle between innocence and lust" His longing is very well enacted. It is a great introduction to the rest of the show.

"All he wants is some clarity, yet our queen seems to be playing with him." The two of them are playing with one another. they asked who is the prey and who is the hunter. One game is just more obvious than the other.

"Can we just take a moment to appreciate this totally mismatched soundtrack? " I was just amazeed by the beautiful soundtrack.

"He genuinely believes he can dominate this strong woman—what a total joke! " Completely!!

"How many women has this poor man in their clutches?" Fu cheng accepted the offer tho become her bodyguard but the all society has to accept it too. She cannot just steal him without the Xu family's consent. SO I guess this is the moment she took the opportunity to poach him openly. And I am not surprised, she leverage her useless brother to do so.

Yes totally. The problem is those one-dimensional SML who are totally obssesed with their goals and they don't have a human side of them. Yes his ego is getting in the way. I have the impression that he wants to see her In love with him, like his mistress is. But of course, he doesn't know her. He spends time with her but he cannot see past her poker face. That's for the best because he has ill intentions.

This is totaly true. She surprises me a lot and I admire her unapologetic ways of doing things. But this shameless strategy is very hard to stand. This is where I see the game. Because each of them is playing his role. But I empathize more with Fu Cheng because his strategy is more subtl and he is put in difficult situations by Ying Xian.

No he did not. Yes, he would have chosen another method if he had the choice. As a Millitary officer, I am sure he knows spying methods and so on ... He willingly enters the game but he tries to survive in it as much as he can. Bravo.

Oh my goodness, you wouldn't believe how many SMLs/SFLs I've encountered that are plagued by this issue. It drives me up the wall! Seriously, why do we have to settle for side characters who are just mindless drones? Can't we have them be smart, clever, and ambitious instead?

I totally agree. The problem is, when the supporting cast has interesting back ground, thus stories. There are some people who say that the plot is messy. And that the story goes in every direction. Because they only want a plot that focuses on the main couple.

But you are right. Great side characters make great stories. Sometimes i don't understand some MDL reviews.

Thank you. I suppose the public eye is very important. Ying Xian has to act privatly and openly. This can impact the intrigue and the way the story will develop. Still, I like his surprise to see her spend so much for him.:)
