As for me,fell free to inspect my profile. I have written my favorite genres, what i prefer and what I avoid. If not, just recommend me anything that you wish, I'm open to anything!

I accept @Arclei 's recommendations to watch Nagatan to Aoto: Ichika no Ryourijou! I was convinced to start my first Japanese drama. Also, i want to express my appreciation for recommendating small dramas! Life has been so busy recently 🙃

Status: Completed

Rating: 8/10

The drama was focused in culinary art and the empowerment of women. It was a great watch, it had no major drama and it  touched upon the taboo of the age gap couples. Thanks for the nice recommendations!

Sorry for the super late update.
Real life has been a bit stressful. I have updated the chart and went back to older posts to get the newest status for all titles. If you notice a mistake anywhere, please let me know. Users who haven't watched/picked their recommended title in several weeks are marked as inactive. You can return to the challenge at any time.

I'm sorry to inform you that I will need some more time with the badges. I know a lot of you are still waiting and I promise I'll get back to it, but a mishap caused a data loss of all my stock images, meaning I have to create the badges from 0 which will need some time and I can't guarantee they will look 100% the same. I'll try to the best of my abilities but be a bit more patient so I can give you the best result.

Thank you all for keeping this wonderful watch challenge alive. Happy watching!

 Stardust_stroller:
I'm open to anything!

Hi @Stardust_stroller

I took a look at your profile and noticed you seem to enjoy well-written romance. This isn't really my forte so I went mostly based on the tropes you mentioned enjoying. I hope these are to your liking ^^

Nagatan to Aoto: Ichika no Ryourijou
Jdrama - 10 eps

Historical, Food, Romance, Life
- Marriage first, slow burn | Cute fluff with an age gap
Our Dining Table
Jdrama - 10 eps

Romance, Food, Drama, BL
- Friends to lovers | Also cute fluff
Bloody Heart
Kdrama - 16 eps

Historical, Melodrama, Political, Romance
Second chance, lovers to enemies to lovers | This one is a bit more complicated and quite political, but the romance was intense and angsty. Both leads have a tendency to be manipulative, tho due to the genre
A Dream like the True Love
Cdrama - 24 eps

Historical, Romance, Drama
Friends to lovers, forbidden love | Bit of an unusual romance situation
Begin Again
Cdrama - 35 eps

Romance, Business, Comedy
- Fake relationship, second chance | Reversal of the typical cold CEO ML romance. FL does display some manipulative behaviour
The Day of Becoming You
Cdrama - 24 eps

Romance, Comedy
- kinda enemies to friends to lovers | Body swap. Very funny
Shijukara
Jdrama - 12 eps

Romance, Psychological, Drama
- Forbidden love | Darker and more taboo than the others

If you want different recommendations, let me know! ^^ No hard feelings.

Recc request: Something that's unusual. Not like the other dramas/movies. Unique premises, settings, characters, etc. Something that stands out from either dramas in general or within its genre ^^

Please do check out my likes and dislikes list on my profile. I appreciate it greatly 🙏 You can also go through my completed list, but my profile info will give a better idea of what I typically enjoy ^^ My PTW is a mess, but feel free to take a look if you're so inclined. Lastly, I tend not to enjoy very popular dramas as much, so hidden-gem recommendations would be ideal.

  • Preferably nothing too long. Miniseries, short-length series, movies, or specials are ideal (under 8 hours if possible).
  • No tragedies, sad endings, or terminal illnesses. (Open or bittersweet endings are fine, but I'd appreciate a heads up for the latter).
  • Minimal body horror.
  • No healing dramas/movies.
  • Nothing that's too messed up.

Since I'm a heavy mood-watcher and fussy about what I watch, I might ask for more/different recommendations. Thank you for your time <3

Thank you @Anne613 for the recommendations! A of interesting ones so I'll try some out and take some time to decide on my pick! ^^
