Quantcast

I’m looking for an Asian drama or movie that likely aired before 2009, possibly from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, or Japan. I watched it on a local Vietnamese TV channel around 2005–2009, so I’m not sure about the original country or title.

The story was set in modern times, not historical. From what I remember, it had a dark and tragic tone, possibly involving gangs, assassins, rival groups, or people from opposing sides. The male and female leads loved each other, but they eventually became enemies or were forced to confront each other because they belonged to opposing sides.

I remember the female lead, or an important female character, being somewhat like an assassin or fighter. There may have been cold weapons such as knives, swords, or blades, which stood out to me because the setting was modern. The ending was tragic: I’m almost sure the female lead died.

One very specific memory: in the final episode or ending, after the woman died, the male lead silently walked past her house or stood outside her door, possibly leaving flowers there. This scene was also reused as part of the ending montage for many episodes, accompanied by a sad female vocal or humming/instrumental ending theme.
