Same sentiment on Better Halves.  I took a sneak peak but couldn't get into it, but I will try again it some other time. 

Yeah I tried the first couple of episodes and the FL came across as silly rather than cute.........lost interest........might try it again some time later too

Just started Legend of the Female General and am on episode 3. It's got me hooked. I liked the FL from WofH, and she's a strong, bad ass FL in this one.

She's very good at action scenes, looks real.

I watched a vertical drama titled Forced Sweet / 强扭的乖乖甜不甜 today. A word play of 强扭的瓜不甜 (A forced melon is not sweet) with FL calling ML 小乖乖 (good child) and ML calling FL 甜甜 (sweety, but also the repetition of her given name Wu Meng Tian)

FL was such a fun person~ She's a general's daughter whose after 3 years mourning her mother found out her fiancee has a concubine who gave birth to 2 children, so she tried to break up the engagement by having her own lover, ML. ML was a crown prince who's about to enter monkhood but being kidnapped by FL and being teased in regular. A fun drama.

Me too. Aside from the leads being two of my all time fave actors, the story actually sounds interesting. Let's hope it doesn't get too hacked up under review....

I am as well. I love the FL after The Sword and The Brocade. The ML is good, but lord his dramas are a letdown again and again. I am really hoping this one finally proves me wrong.

Yes, WeTV have express package.  iQiyi has that too, but not for every drama (I think it's the same for WeTV and Youku in that the express package is not for every drama).   Not sure about Mango TV as I don't have a subscription there and rarely watch on their platform.  I'd usually go to YouTube for Mango TV dramas that are not available in the other streaming platforms 😊. 

Enjoy "Brocade Odyssey", it's a good one!  I think some parts towards the end could have been better executed, but I would still recommend it!

Wow, you're right. iQIYI had express package for Wang Xing Yue's drama, which I don't watch.

I'm thinking to hold or drop Legend of the Female General but it's a part of my watch challenge. The path to revenge seems so faraway... Will continue watching it when it's already concluded.

I'm starting a Thai food drama titled Plai Chawak, for a change; so far the two wives of (seems like) a police officer compete to win his stomach and heart with many different type of foods. But the main plot will be focusing on the younger generation.

I am also watching Threads of destiny....  the plots is definitely my cup of tea and the comedic aspect is such a bonus.

Legend of the Female General has some of the best fight /action scenes that I've seen. I'm on episode 21, and I can name 3 memorable major fight scenes, which have me glued to the screen! felt like I had an adrenaline rush just by watching them, especially the one on episode 12 😂.   There are smaller action sequences that are good as well.  

Also, I like the characters of the FL and ML - He Yan (Zhou Ye) and Xiao Jue (Ryan Cheng), as well as Cheng Li Su (Li Qing) and Song Tao Tao (Zhang Miao Yi).

I watched the episode that's out for Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, and I really loved the vibes! So I was wondering if there's any other romance dramas similar to the time travel plot, servant/royalty plot, or tyrant ml plot? Any number of recs fitting any of the three work!
