Aiaiaiaiaiaiaiai!!! Its here its here!!! The first 4 episodes dropped already! Waiting for subs!!

Oh, are you usually watching dramas in kisskh? They tend to issue a few number of episode(s) according to how many episode(s) gonna come out the next time they aired. The official airing date announced for In The Name of Blossom is 30 June. You could try hitting the number button to know when it'll come out. There's a countdown.

I'm also excited for it. 🎉

But I hope no other daily C-drama I ptw will air until ITNOB completed because I also have one modern C-drama I ptw airing on 2 July. Please don't come out...

Just the name has my feminist heart excited! I am also hoping for a really good sismance. Have not seen a lot of those in historical dramas (besides New Life Begins - which I cannot recommend enough).

For sismance, I thought, A Dream of Splendor and The Story of Pearl Girl did well.

I just completed Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori.

Recommended for a fan of fluffy romance.

I have seen ADoS and thought so as well. Not touching the other one. FL causes hives :P

Going on PTW!!

So... the next iQIYI's drama to air is 36 eps Coroner's Diary with Ao Rui Peng and Li Lan Di (like their acting but won't watch it since it's the type of drama I'll leave midway) on (16 changed to) 13 July (official). So maybe there's no other iQIYI costume drama would come in July even though there's a rumor Legend of the Magnate will come out on 25 July? What a pity.

I've started A Dream within a Dream and finished ep 11 last night. It's hilarious! There are many funny scenes 😂.  The story's interesting and the visuals are nice too.

I will probably go back to Eternal Brotherhood S2 after I'm all caught up with ADWAD and waiting for next episodes.

My friend watched ADWAD and thought it's very good and hillarious.

I'm currently watching In The Name of Blossom until episode 6. The first 3 episodes feels super fast-paced, but since episode 4, (thankfully) it's back to normal. I seriously love Li Xian's pretense persona with that smug smiley face while fanning himself with a feather fan. But what I love more is the costume, the makeup and the hairstyles, and the setting, the peonies and Yang Zi who's prettier than the peonies.

And I like the way people from the past showing their feelings. Instead of saying 'I love you' directly, they mention how they like crescent moon because it resembles the eyes of the people who like to smile and sending hairpin and talking in roundabout way about it. So romantic~ 💓 Reminds me of an iconic quote, "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

Hello!

I'm new here (not on MDL, but didn't know such club exsists! <3). I'm BIG historical drama lover (most of my watched dramas are historical), nowadays, I watch very slowly but still it's a perfect community for me :)

I'm currently watching The Haunted Palace and When Life Gives You Tangerines (loves it, and I alrady cried a river on episode 6 Q.Q).

Looking forward to our discussions ^^

Hi, welcome to the club!

WLGYT is so great, enjoy the rest of it! I haven't watched The Haunted Palace yet, but I want to watch it soon. Do you recommend it?

Hello!

Hi and welcome!

We have smth in common! Long hair MLs with amazing sword skills 😆

I watch a lot of historical dramas but also modern and BLs. So a mix. I lean more toward romance and less on war/political themes. I love it when a drama includes comedy too.

Woot woot! Kindred spirits! The long hair and sword skills are always swoonworthy. Cdramas definitely have an upper hand with the long hair. And a BIG yes to the comedy. It just adds that pep to the storytelling and makes me appreciate it just a little bit more!

So far, it's good (solid 7-8 for me), I like the aspect of showing different korean folk spirits/rituals/belives.

Wut! Long hair ML with amazing sword skills (Yeo Un anyone?!?) are the best!

I love nice palace drama/concubine schemes (for example Empresses in the Palace, Story of Yanxi Palace, Empress Ki or Jewel in the Palace ) but they tend to be toooo long for me nowadays (after busy day with a toddler, I sometimes have to split episodes in half so watching so long dramas would take me years Q.Q)

And I love Taiga and Asadora dramas - maybe Asadoras (Oshin!!!! <3) more, because with 15-min episodes it's easier to watch it "meanwhile I have some child-free moment" XD
