I'll be doing the opposite he he. Watching spring of the blade while waiting for ATC episodes to air. I started SotB but haven't been able to get into it much yet. Let's see how it goes.

SotB started off kind of slow for me, but I found I liked it the more I'm watching. I think ATC is more compelling though. Completely obsessed with it atm.

I didn't think I would enjoy Against the Current so much. I'm totally skipping on sleep just to get caught up. I just finished ep 17. I think I can find ep 18 on WeTV. Then, I'll go back to Spring of the Blade after lunch. Wow, glad I have nothing better to do today.

Agree, AtC is a more compelling/ immersive watch. The story, pacing and acting are all really well executed. I have watched 5 eps of SotB and it's also good; Imo it starts to gain momentum at episode 3.

Agree, AtC is a more compelling/ immersive watch. The story, pacing and acting are all really well executed. I have watched 5 eps of SotB and it's also good; Imo it starts to gain momentum at episode 3.

SoTB: It would have been more immersive if they hadn't used the choppy storytelling style where the time jumps to the past are so excessive. And even then we have the distant past and the more recent past. I have some motion sickness from watching a few episodes back to back!!

This! 👏 Thank you, I couldn't put my finger on the word I would use for the beginning of the drama but choppy fits all to well.

Against the Current: This drama continues to deliver for me. I'm blown away by each plot turn and holy impressed on how the characters are giving such an in character and believable reaction to each situation. Definitely a top C-Drama of 2026.

As Promised: A predictable mini 24 episode drama. Not an original plot, but entertaining enough to watch the 15 min or less episode each day in-between the better dramas. Some acting is questionable while others are pretty decent. 🤷‍♀️

Spring of the Blade: I'm surprisingly bored of this drama. At the beginning, it being 30 episodes seems like the perfect length, but now at episode 19 I feel like it should be close to done but we have 11 more episodes to see. The acting is good overall, but something about it just feels like it's dragging.

The Demon's Pursuit: What in the chaos is this!? Another mini 24 episode drama with each episode varying in length (so far highest run time is 19 mins with the shortest being 13 min). Is it a good drama? ❌️ Is it fun to watch? 💯✅️ The plot has an interesting twist and I can't help but be amused by everything, even when I know logically it's not good. This is offically my so bad it's good C-drama of the month.
