p43425:
I believe Netflix (at least for now) has it only in Thailand (and possibly elsewhere in SE Asia) - and unfortunately, Netflix doesn't like VPN.

I'm guessing that they'll do an international theatrical release, with Netflix to follow internationally later. I'm eager to see this remake because (1) I loved the original movie ("Marry My Dead Body") and (2) Billkin & PP Krit are brilliant, but I'm also patient, so I'll wait and see what happens.

i haven't watched it but it sounds interesting.. hopefully it comes out internationally.

 BL4life:

Wait guys when did "The Red Envelope" come out? because earlier today I got a netflix video on tiktok about it and I lowkey want to watch it(yet i don't have netflix but i think kisskh has it)  and I already know the ending because i was find more videos about it on the search bar but still I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN BETWEEN THE BEGINNING AND END.

Supposedly, it was released July 24 on Netflix, but I don't see it (USA), so I used VPN to Thailand and watched on Netflix that way.

 p43425:
So how am I still together with someone after 29 years?  At this point, it's a lot about stability, mutual trust ... and a lot of mutual forbearance, too.

Together with my husband for 36.5 years, married 32 years next month. For us, it was about supporting each other through the tough times, respecting each other as individuals with different needs, values and temperament, and learning how to communicate with each other in the kindest way possible. He won't ever understand my love for Asian dramas and BL, but he will always support it.

I am also wondering if there are community guidelines here on MDL; I always just assumed that they exist here.

Whatever they are u broke them long time ago.

 RXinw:
You guys are making it difficult for me not to make the jokes 🤭

I fell into your dirty-minded trap again, dang!

I can be quite grouchy

Even Oscar the Grouch is loveable in his own way.

I blame @axdxex. She started this. 😁😅😂🤣 Once and for all, it's Italophilia, not phobia.

Yeah I like it. Where else could we be having so much fun with so many different kinds of people?

I was looking at a public board downtown today and came across a group called "Rainbow Elders" for senior LGBTQ+ community members. I don't know what they do but it sounded cool they have smth like that.

Anyways, I forgot to tell u, Mr. P, the last pic of Fluke u posted is sooo CUTE!!!

I Became the Main Role of a BL Drama S2 - EP 1

Okaaaay. Time out @ 11:25 into the first ep. (I sound like a sports announcer)

Full disclosure: I do not like silly, slapstick, overly dramatic ridiculously stupid humor. Lookin' at you Japan. Sorry not sorry.

I barely made it past the scene with Yuichiro flipping around on the floor like a fish out of water, but I stopped watching the moment Hajime was bounced up and down like a toddler by some dude. I don't remember S1's acting being on steroids like this or do I have selective memory? Or maybe it's so long since I've watched OTT acting in a J-drama that my tolerance level has reached Zero. Zip. Nadda.

In any case I'm now traumatized and need to move on to smth else to erase the images in my brain. 💀

Indeed.

Pit Babe Season 2: Uncut - finale

5.5/10

@Art Girl

i will consider myself warned about I became the main role in a BL drama. I also don’t like ott humor. I found it pretty difficult to watch Ossan’s Love (Japanese.) I only watched because I knew the Thai one was coming out. Even that was way too silly for me but EarthMix are one of my favorite couples so I watched for them.

usually i make an exception for body swap stories that are silly, but I tried two episodes of Sutiny and am not sure I can keep watching. I hate dropping things, though, so it may go on my “on hold” list. The Promise of the Soul was a ridiculous episode 1 but it has gotten better since. I haven’t watched today’s episode yet.

i am not old enough for “rainbow elders” but the LGBTQ center in san diego has lots of activities for when I am. I’m glad you think that’s cool. Queer folks come in all ages!

I also love that we have a place like this where people of all ages, backgrounds, sexualities and nationalities can bond over a common interest.

Well said, so much better than my terse, grouchy version.

Well said, almost enough to overcome my general disdain for social media and its role in undermining civilisation.

Is the Thai version a similar acting style? I haven't seen it yet.
