Ju Moon:
Guys, are The Promise of the Soul and Fight for You set in the same universe?

I've not watched either of these yet, but these are both from VBL, and this sounds exactly like what VBL did earlier with "Stay by My Side", "Anti Reset", "VIP Only" and "You Are Mine": exchanging cameos between the otherwise unrelated series to titillate viewers and cross-market the series.

 aqua_01:
I watched Reset yesterday and I'm shocked that not many people have reacted to it

There have actually been a few who've been raving about it in this group - but yeah, I think that the overabundance of BL releases is causing some really good productions to get lost in the shuffle. I have to confess that I've not started on "Reset" (or "Memoir of Rati" or various others that I really should be prioritising).

I have many bad habits, and within the BL realm, one of these is that I tend to prioritise watching the fluffy BLs with cuties ("Squirrel, squirrel!"*) over the top-notch dramas ("Eat your spinach!"), which I tend to postpone "until I'm in the right mood". I'm embarrassed to say how many of the best BLs from the past few years are still patiently waiting in my PTW queue.

* Speaking of Pavlovian dog reflexes in reaction to squirrels and my own Pavlovian reflexes in reaction to cuties: I must watch "Dogbro" when it releases on iQiyi this afternoon! Vacuous fluff with cuties and dogs!

Hermoso - episode 5

I don't understand smth in ur post but I know better than to ask publicly anymore, haha.  I could DM u about it but I might get waaay more info than I want...unless u go easy on me.

Can anyone tell me if it matters whether I watch the movie or the drama for The Time of Fever? Are they about the same?

 RXinw:
This person is though:

He has big eyebrows! A cute smile too.

This is Luke Ishikawa Plowden. He’s Japanese American but has made a career in Thailand.

so thats why he looks like an english speaker. So he's basically like choi sangmin whos korean but  does his job in thailand

ABO Desire - episode 5

I am too captivated by Hua Yong to lend thought to how devious, malicious and manipulative his actions truly are. He is playing this game quite well; mainly because he made the whole game.

I am very much annoyed with Shen Wen Lang.

I did feel sorry for Shen Shao You this episode though. Seeing him go out of his mind thinking that Hua Yong is being abused was almost painful to watch. I say almost because there were points in his acting that were not so believable and more cringe for me.

One episode a week is really painful. They need to release at the very least two episodes per week!

I look forward to the next episode.

so many people are saying Shen Wen Lang looks like Jiang Cheng from the untamed, and I quite do agree but he does also kind of remind me of Nie Huaisang

LOL You are welcome to DM me your query. Yes, I will go easy on you, and be as clinical in my explaining as possible.

I cannot remember the ending clearly,I think it ending with them walking on the beach, the ending was more open in terms of if they became a couple, I think. Wait on someone else to reply to be sure.

I gave it a 10. I felt like the writers and actors delivered well. The movie version is just a compilation of all the episodes in one, like what other KBLs do.

They are the side couple in Unintentional Love Story, so same universe. I believe the events here happened before the events of Unintentional Love Story.

Oooooh I forgot!! My bad. I was thinking more about how much you liked the historical MMATB. 🙃

I do the love the genre, hence why I am disappointed that it seems like Returned Master is a Bromance after all.

I really love the genre though whether BL or otherwise - shout out to Ancient Love Poetry as well as Secret History of Empress Wu (based on real historical events; the only woman to ever be the emperor of China - she declared herself emperor refusing the title of empress and ruled a glorious reign mark by revolution in areas such as social justice. History (men) has attempted to villainise her in history).

Regarding The Untamed, I have had access to the books for so long, but I have yet to get around to reading them because I keep reading other books, and because I refuse to start them until I finish both books of Addicted.
