edit: In a way i feel bad for sheng shao yu for him being manipulated by Hua yong but at that the same time I lowkey dig with it.

Hermoso - episode 5

Andres - "...tight just like you." - SCREAMING!! Yes baby!

This is the best episode to have aired so far. This series is still a mess and this episode by no means managed to be free of mediocrity. However, the efforts of the writers shined through a little here. The emotions portrayed about the fear of coming out felt palpable along with the dialogue attached to them.

The chemistry between the leads is also blazing this episode.

I have to admit that since I have made peace with the fact that keeping my expectations very low with this series is for the best, I have started enjoying it more.

I watched both seasons and totally fell in love with this show. It's a smart and hilarious take on classic BL tropes. Watching Aoyagi and Akafuji’s messy love story play out was an absolute blast!

the way hua yong’s character switches from dominant to submissive is masterful!

I’m totally smitten. His acting is absolutely brilliant! Honestly, they could’ve just renamed the show Hua Yong: Masterclass in Manipulation.   But in today’s episode, I felt so bad for Sheng Shao You.

The Next Prince: Uncut - episode 13

This was a great penultimate episode.

After watching this episode I have some rather strong comments, but as usual I will save them for my finale review. 

The preview for the finale has me a bit worried as I am not so keen on what it is suggesting; not quite the type of ending I would want, but let me wait and see how it actually ends.
