I like the political intrigue in this drama. We've got a treason plot and a possible king's assassination in the future. History is written by the victors, so I have doubts about Kosol being the one responsible for the king's death. So far, he's shown no intention of actually killing his little brother (can't say the same about other people involved in the plot). I don't trust Woradech's father. He bears strange animosity towards Kosol 🤨
I know Prince wants to travel back to his life, but honestly, he's having a ball living as Woradet. He's been kissing men right, left and centre. He's put his lips on Kosol, Banjong, Jet, a prison guard... He's clearly setting a bad example, judging by what happened in that prison cell 😂
Doctor’s Mine eps 4-6
Here we go again... I wanted to cheer on the main couple, I did, but if Knight did what everyone thinks he did, and his excuse is going to be 'I did it, because I love you' - I will lose it 😠 I'm amazed how easily characters in BL forgive things like this. I'm with Mud on this one, only his reaction was adequate.
The only likeable thing about Knight is his mum. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about Per. I wish him and Kan all the happiness in the world, but Per's mum is not going to make it any easier on them. As if they don't have enough on their hands with their unclear status and Kan still being uncertain about his own feelings. By the way, that brothers plot twist caught me off guard 😮
Third couple is no better. Another love triangle with a girl. Heh, it's not the BL of the year for sure...
Khemjira eps 1-3
I really enjoy this series, because I love my horror BL. I just hope they keep up with the horror and don't tone it down in the upcoming episodes, because the last episode wasn't scary at all. My horror loving heart needs more. I hope the next episode will be better and truly terrifying things will happen to those two ar$es 🤬
Shaman Keng is really cool. He seems aloof, but he really cares about his village and his people. He also tries to follow the rules and keep his promise to his grandpa, that's why he's keeping his distance from Khem. Khem is cute and innocent. All he really wants is to keep his life. Who wouldn't? Who would want to die because of some family curse, without even trying to break it? I'm so glad he's got Jet by his side. Jet is like the best friend. He truly cares for Khem, so I hope he survives till the end. There's also Chan. Maybe it's just me, but he seems a little suspicious. Like he knows more than he's willing to show. What I don't understand, however, is why the people in glasses are always considered unattractive. I mean, the moment his glasses fell off people started looking at him like he's the hottest guy around.
I'm intrigued with their past life storyline as well. We finally know the ghost in shining armour is shaman's brother from another lifetime and Khemmika's friend enamoured with her. For now I'm glad he's there for Khem, but he spells trouble for the main couple. We have yet to find out who's Khem's karmic enemy and how she's connected to them all. You know the saying - hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I bet there was some jealousy, rivalry and misunderstanding involved in this. It's hard for me to believe Khemmika did something so terrible, that all her male descendants have to suffer for generations.
ABO Desire eps 1-9
Omegaverse is a familiar concept (them fanfics, you know), so I knew what I was getting myself into with this series. I can't really complain about the heat/rut getting the better of alphas/omegas, since it is a part of this concept. The question is, what they'll do about it.
Sheng Shao Yu is an S-class alpha (I immediately thought of Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse 😂), who is desperately trying to find a cure for his father's gland cancer. He's infatuated with a sweet and innocent omega, Hua Yong. Little does he know, Hua Yong is actually a calculating and ruthless enigma, the strongest of them all, who's been in love with him for years. I'm enjoying the duality of Hua Yong and I'm curious how Shao Yu will react when he finds out he's the enigma, who has designs on him and can overpower him so easily.
There's also a second pairing. I don't really know what to think about Wen Lang. Every time I see him on screen he's either following Hua Yong's orders, fighting Shao Yu or being omegaphobic. That's his whole personality (so far, I'm not a fan). Gao Tu, on the other hand, is depressed and suicidal (why else would he blatantly ignore his health issues?). He hates himself, he's infatuated with his boss, who hates his gender, but still used him to satisfy his needs... I feel sorry for the poor guy. I wish his life would get better in the future, but I'm afraid it's a futile hope 😟
I keep on wondering what Hua Yong's blood type is. Since in this universe your 'secondary gender' is connected with your blood type, after the mysterious virus altered human's bodies and wiped out the AB blood type, is he a new blood type E? I bet scientists dream of getting their hands on him...
I enjoy watching this series, but I wish it did a better job at explaining things. I wish I didn't have to ask the novel readers for answers whenever I don't understand what is happening or why it's happening 😕
