ABO Desire - episode 11

This series is just not doing it for me anymore.

Yeah, it is quite slow. I'm only hanging on for Sheng Shao You and Gao Tu (who hardly gets screen-time). Can't believe this is ending in October. Also I want Hua Yong to get punched.

 p43425:

Just finished "Sannin Fufu" (Netflix: "Two Husbands, One Wife"). As the name suggests, it's about a three-way marriage, with BL only an ancillary component - so I hope no one gets annoyed with me for posting it in this group. Anyways, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Although the BL leg of the triangle is limited, it's a sweet poly relationship comedy which explores the various problems they face. It's not brilliant, but it's a reasonably nice watch and has the virtue of being something different than the usual BL tropes.

How did you find it overall? It looks like something I might watch.

OK, count me in.

re: Shine episode 6 (of 8)

this was indeed a wonderful episode. i agree with all the scenes you mentioned as special. (If I try to quote your post, the spoilers show.) i was also very moved by Trin breaking down in Tanwa’s arms, and also by his conversation With Tanwa about losing Claire and his trauma over that. I spent most of the episode crying because of all these scenes, but especially during Victor’s confession and Trin’s breakdown. I continue to be amazed with this show. I also think it already deserves a 10! And that trumpet music, so beautiful and such a mood setter at the end. I don’t think I have ever found a third act episode so beautiful. I hope it will not get more traumatic before a resolution at the end.

i once again feel like I spent an hour in Thailand in the past, with Krailert and Naran and Trin and Victor and Tanwa and Dhevi and Veera. I want to hug them all and tell them to cherish every moment and embrace the people they truly love.

this show is going to stick with me for a long time.

P.S. Do we need to start saying ApoMile? Or just generally thank BOC for another fiery switch?

Memoir of Rati:  This show had everything I love in a period drama. It’s visually stunning, the costumes are flawless, and the sets beautifully capture early 20th-century Thailand. The writing is sensitive, and the cast delivers such powerful performances that the whole thing feels like a hidden gem.

Because there were so many other high profile shows at the same time, Memoir of Rati does seem like it got forgotten. I really enjoyed it and looked forward to each episode. It never failed to keep my interest. I loved both couples. Even with limited screen time, AouBoom captured my heart. @Ju Moon , your reviews are excellent. Keep them coming!

about Sanin fufu : once you agree with the trouple-wedding concept, which may seems weird at first, it was an interesting and enjoyable watch. The drama also deals with the fears of responsabilities and engagement, from a different and kinda "refreshing" perspective, imho.
