I watched today's final episode. Although this series is largely painful and tragic, which isn't my usual comfort zone, it's really good.
Is it a satisfyingly happy ending? Unambiguously not - although unlike the star-crossed lovers in "Romeo and Juliet", they're both alive, so I guess that counts for something.
There's one loose end I'm puzzled by (or did I miss something?) Why is Shi Wen's picture hanging on Grandma Yu's wall? I'm not finding an answer with Google, so if anyone can enlighten me, I'd be grateful.

I talk more about eating them then I actually do, lol. I can get sugar "hangover" the next morning if I have too much. Most of the time I keep it light and use a sweet treat as a special thing or if life is just too stressful. So yeah this week was unusually stressful, I made the cookies and ate 8 of them yesterday! And here I am hungover this morning. Bleck!!! 🙀

Hmm, I think maybe Not Me would count. There's prob a few more or at least a more soft romantic drama. I rarely rewatch so I am bad at remembering details of most dramas, unfortunately.

I absolutely loved it! I gave it a rating of 8.5! The two main characters are incredibly endearing. If you can stick with it until episode five, it's truly worth your time. The first half has a playful, goofy vibe, but then it shifts to a more serious tone and storyline that I found really engaging in the second half. While some viewers might not appreciate the exaggerated acting in the beginning, I found it charming and laughed along the way. It has its unique quirks that make it special. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a shot, just remember that the first half doesn't fully capture the intriguing plot that unfold later on.

When I was picking mine out, I realised that when I measured my love and nostalgia for the ones I mentioned against the likes of LITA and Love Mechanics, they fall short despite my great love for them. Feelings are really strange are they not, lol.
