Haha, I’m fine with their story — but it was a little too basic for my liking. I mean, most of my favorite BLs have those juicy, complex plots or at least one of the main leads dealing with some serious baggage. Take "Our Youth," for example. That one wrecked me! I was sobbing like a baby through every episode, yet somehow, it still snagged a spot on my all-time favorites list. Go figure!

I'm half way through Love Is A Poison and other than talking with the plants and they "talk" back, I'm loving every minute of this series. It's possible it might go on my BL favs list, which means a lot as some of you know I don't like many J-dramas. AND it could be the second Japanese BL in less than a month to earn a spot! 👏

If you didn't subsequently figure it out, Simi's "Our Youth" = "Miseinen: Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu", i.e. Simi and you are talking about the same BL.
And yes, both "Miseinen" and "Doku Koi" were winners - so glad you finally found some JBLs you like!

I was the opposite: I remember that the first time I watched "LITA", the second half dragged for me, even though I was fascinated by Fort/Peat. (Both they and Boss/Nouel and Fort/Peat were new to me at the time.) If the two storylines (novels) had been intertwined, "LITA" would've held my attention better. Nevertheless, I loved it - and it made me fall in love with both of these mesmerising CPs.

Today I watched ep 5 of FC Sold Out, which had me kicking my feet and squealing. VERY CUTE.
I also watched EP 1 & 2 of Exclusive Love. TBH the pacing feels off, and I'm a little confused-- but the actors are cute so I'll give it a few more episodes...
I'm also hoping to watch some shows I've started but can't seem to finish, this weekend : Love Sick 2024 (12/15) and Unknown (3/12). Don't judge me ;; they're good, but they stress me out lol
BUT I'm prioritizing P10L (I'm dying to see Wine & Faifa in action) and the finale of Sangmin Dinneaw tomorrow <3
