So, I binge-watched "A Perfect Match". RXinw rather liked it (p. 1702), Axdxex most definitely did not (p. 1699), and Art Girl (p. 1700) liked the abs, not sure about otherwise.
So what do I think? Hmm, I guess I mostly liked it, despite its considerable flaws, so I guess I'm somewhere in between. The visuals (not just abs, also upper torsos) were indeed pretty good. On the debit side, the story felt very contrived. The development of the relationship was rushed and abrupt. Execution was flawed and at times felt choppy. (That being said, I agree with RXinw that low-budget productions can have a certain charm of their own - and of course, one starts with lower expectations. As to the blatant product placements, like RXinw I don't really mind them if they help to pay for it, although at two points they were so incongruous as to be eyebrow-raising.)
And yet I blasted through it. It's not great, but I thought it was watchable, moderately engaging, and at times quite sweet - plus each of the 10 episodes is only about 7 minutes minus the long closing credits, so it's not much of a time investment.
