Yesterday I finished my yearly re-watch of Ai Long Nhai.

Does anyone else have like attachment to shows that aren't that great, but like, just do it for you? lol

BTW I just realized that Ping is only 20 years old. It feels like he's been doing BL forever. It's like when I remember Phuwin is 21.

absolutely. some of my favorite shows and movies are objectively not good or well done but sometimes that adds to the charm lol

i think my only bl example so far has been Two Worlds. it was a decent show plot & production wise but my unhealthy obsession with maxnat made it a 9.5/10 for me 😅

Good question! Hmmm, idk. I've only ever rewatched a handful of shows, and none more than twice. 

But if I could choose a "not so great" show (going by ratings) to get attached to it might be one of these:

  1. My Engineer
  2. Love By Chance
  3. Why R U? (Thai)
  4. Anti Reset
  5. Be Mine Superstar
  6. Impression of Youth
  7. And the super short Blue Boys. (This would be an easy rewatch since it's short.)

I gave an 8 to all but Blue Boys.  BB got a 9.  

Some of the old school BLs feel comforting. It takes me back to a time period when all I watched was the school themed BLs. I especially liked seeing the friend groups. Smth I never really had as the "new kid" over and over again. 

Every time someone brings up an old BL drama it feels like I need to watch it again! 🤣

Honestly it should be blasphemy for this series have the rating it does on here. I rated it a 10, it has the scene that I re-watch the most out of all BLs.
