Quick question, I wanna start Every You, Every Me, but there are no versions. The director's cut and the regular one. Can anyone tell me which one I should watch?

I watched it on Gagaoolala. I don't specifically know if this is "director's cut", but I didn't get the sense that anything was missing.

Forewarning: It starts off feeling like an anthology. The connection doesn't become clear until the last part, and the abrupt transition (starting from ep. 6 @ 36:00) is quite confusing at first.

Although it dragged at a few points, it's something different, has some nice visuals (hubba-hubba!), and I generally liked it, not least because of my love for Mick and Top.

I'm feeling nostalgic lately for a lot of series, like Color Rush, that I had previously watched around this time last year.

I've been meaning to watch "Color Rush", but it's still languishing in my PTW queue. Thanks to the various comments above, I'll push up the priority. (Also, there's much to be said for a KBL that one can knock off in two hours.)

I likewise feel very nostalgic about some of the first BLs I watched. In some cases (e.g. "LBC2"), I would probably judge them more harshly by my current standards, but at the time, I loved these BLs as something new and exciting that captured my heart.

 Italophilia:

This might be good and/or completely heartbreaking. I love the music already.

I'm hoping for a HEA but expecting a SE. 😔 I can't wait! I love the trailer so much I'm watching anyways!

This. Is. Me.

My first was About Youth, then after that I went into Stay With Me. I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into with SWM. I realized later that I had jumped right into the deepest part of the deep end of the pool of BLs watching that as my second series lol.

It's  still my #1 favorite series. I have so wanted to go back to watch it a second time, but the emotions are still way too raw even a year later from watching it the first time. It's one of the most incredible series I have watched, but it also left me with a kind of trauma. Just even thinking for a brief moment about trying to go rewatch it, my heart starts to ache and I'll start tearing up. I'm just not emotionally or mentally able to rewatch it again yet, even a full year later. For me it's one of those series that changes you and stays with you for life in the most bittersweet way.

I am rewatching Choco Milk Shake right now. I'm really not sure what I'm doing by rewatching this after ep 9 of My Golden Blood tonight.

I also have a strong emotional bond with both of these - although gosh, they're so starkly different that it sounds strange putting them in the same sentence. Both are excellent!

That's another of my personal faves.

Like whiplash they're so different, but I had no idea lol. I was still a baby BL boy at the time and didn't know what I was doing lol — no regrets though. I do try to still keep up with XuBin and JiongMin and their music. I love just about every song they did together on Midsummer Night.

Aww, so cute 🥰

Same. I follow them on IG. They're so talented. And when I miss SWM, I replay this. I still can't re-watch the whole series. Way too raw.

I love the SWM OST too. I follow them also, but I mainly keep up with them from when they go live on Douyin through Taoti Lychee's channel on YT. They are a huge fan as well and they post anything and everything they do and all their live broadcasts translated into English for us.

Question: is the YT version of The Next Prince uncut or cut?

 Indie Art Girl:

I should clarify myself.  When I stopped Pit Babe after 20 mins. I didn't actually add it to my drop list. That wouldn't be fair since it was less than one ep.

For dramas I don't continue before or by the end of the first episode,  I mark "Not Interested" or if it's on my PTW list, delete it.

Gotta you. I done eventually watch them, so my friend and I can discuss and then retire then to the abyss. So he likes more than me,.so they remain on his rewatch list...me, they go into the dark abyss never to be dragged up again.

I'm presently watch My Golden Blood and I haven't pleasantly surprised by a GMMTV drama in awhile, so I'm happy about this one. I'm also watching Top Form, it's nice...I'm glad to see Smart in a drama after such a long time. I was about My Stubborn bits actually sort of decent...even though there's no deep complex story yet revealed, it's still pretty decent.

I heard that Korean bl Blueming has a spin-off, so I'm gonna check it out. And like a lot of people, I can't wait for Pond's drama Reset... I'm proud of him for not getting wrapped up into the bl marriage contract, whereby they partner with some for all time. Anyways...

Question: is the YT version of The Next Prince uncut or cut?

Mandee doesn't specify on their YT channel either way, so maybe not?  I'm sure someone else knows more than me. 😊

I'm up in the middle of the night cuz I can't get my mind to stop. If I'm still awake in 30 mins I'm watching the last ep of Something's Not Right.

 OnyxTheHedgehog:

I'm not sure (the iQiyi version of ep. 1 is 59:13, if that helps), but here's the bigger issue: the wording from Mandee suggests that only ep. 1 will be posted on Youtube, at least for now. The production costs were huge, so I can fully understand that they need to maximise revenue.

 Dawn W:

I'm not sure that I'd call "Something's Not Right" a spin-off, since there's not much relationship to "Blueming" (different production company and cast). Although I've read some criticism of the story/writing, I really like the series so far. (Nudge to self: I need to hurry and catch up before today's final episode is posted.)
