Knock Out - episodes 9 & 10

What I love about this series is that it does not just tell a story, it takes you on a journey. I love how the writers have written the script. Having the couples established so early on was the best thing to do because now we get to see them tackle each conflict and portray emotions together. With them together in dealing with the conflicts there is a greater sense of dread among the viewers when things get dangerous because there is the fear of them losing each other. 

As the series progresses it gets darker and it is like we are watching multiple versions of the same series in the best way. It is as if the writers could not decide on which version of the story to tell and decided to combine them all to make the story into an odyssey. They have done this in a successful way that does not make the series seem disjointed. The transitions between each part of the story are smooth and logical, unlike what was done in Sunset x Vibes: Uncut Version. I am not throwing shade. That series came to mind in comparison. 

I love the NC scene in episode 10. The feelings and setting (inside a hut and a thunderstorm raging outside) set a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The sounds Keen made added to spice of course.

I look forward to the next episode.

I watched it early this morning. I am not sure how to feel about it yet.

Pit Babe 2 episode 10

wtf is wrong with Alan? Has he lost his mind?! He could have died! There was no reason to believe that drug would work on him. And he should have known that if Willy had a tracker, he would end up with one too. He knows he can’t trust Tony! He also lectured Jeff on honesty in the relationship, about their powers, etc., and now this! I know he wants to save Dean, but please! This is just utter lunacy! 

I haven’t loved season 2 of Pit Babe and I don’t expect all of the story to make sense because even season 1 was a bit of a mess, but the characters are all interesting and complex and i expect them to behave according to what we know about them. Of course there will be twists but this was too unbelievable for me.

on the positive side, though,  North and Sonic finally kissed! I still wanted more emotionally from them, but it was great to have them finally get together.

i think there might be too many characters and couples, though, because I never feel like I’m getting enough story for all of them. And we only have 3 episodes left. I hope they are enough to fill in all the blanks and give each couple some screen time. Also, they’d better destroy Tony by the end! 

So I didn’t realize but apparently WeTV has one more episode available than GagaOOlala of the Bangkok Boy. Which means that the final episode is out. I was waiting for it to finish to catch up on the last few episodes so I didn’t have to wait to see how it ended, especially after RXinw mentioned the curse of episode 11.

my problem now is I don’t have time to finish tonight or tomorrow, and I don’t want to see spoilers.

I have a lot to do because I’m leaving Monday for a week in New York City with my spouse. I’m going to the Heart Killers fan meet while I’m there. (my spouse will not attend the fan meeting. They can barely tolerate my photo collection let alone any other over-the-top fan behavior. but I shouldn't complain since they agreed to go to New York.) we decided to make it a vacation since we love museums and i have friends and relatives in the city.

im really excited and nervous about the trip and the fan event, just because it‘s a lot of activity and responsibility for me, but I hope it will all be worth it.

(fyi, if you remember me mentioning my wife before, I do have a wife, but she/they are non-binary. They are transitioning to “they/them” pronouns so I am trying to use them from now on.)
