I was waiting for all the episodes to drop before watching. Now I’m hyped for Police in Love. It looks like it’s gonna be really good!

BL Challenge Day 28: Hottest NC scene of 2025 so far: Totally agree with @Dora about BOC. No one does NC scenes like they do. Honestly, they’re in a league of their own at this point, their scenes are just next-level in every way. That said, I’d call it a technical tie between the honey scene in Top Form and the 'painting' moment in The Bangkok Boy.

Just finished My School President. Such a heartwarming coming-of-age series. Gemini and Fourth shine with natural chemistry, making their “enemies to lovers” journey irresistibly charming. It's officially one of my comfort series. Plus, Winny, Satang, and Mark, some of my all-time favorites.

The Untamed

i have a lot to say about this show but have been trying to wait until I finish. I’m on episode 46 of 50! So close! But I can’t believe they’re adding another story twist right at the end!

By the way, in case you watched it on Viki, I hope you didn't miss their actual MV at very end of episode 6, as this gets cut off if you have the "automatic next episode" feature enabled (which is a dangerous feature for precisely this reason).  Also, it's fun to watch the original MV of "Just Being Friendly" (Tilly Birds) to compare - ideally before watching ep. 6.

Yes, it's cute - but with some significant weaknesses, especially in terms of story and execution. For the first few episodes, it's not sure if it wants to be a ghost story, a silly comedy or a BL - and as a BL it takes far too long for things to get going. However, the series does get better as it goes along, and the final episode was pretty good (with an interesting story twist). My main complaint is the stupid comedy that didn't fit, but needless to say, Fluke Natouch is not only adorable but also really good as Angel Krit.

Yes. As one who likes JBLs, I can't imagine not having Gaga.

I especially loved this year’s Depth of Field.

Although I wouldn't put it in the top tier of JBLs, I enjoyed it, too. Despite some deficits in the storytelling and a very open-ended ending, I generally liked it for what it was and especially for Usa Takuma (Hayakawa). The series has the added virtue of being short.

I'm thinking of starting Doctor's Mine & Love Sea The Home for Lovers, but I see neither of them have great reviews.

Although I haven't yet watched either, I'm sure I'll watch both, albeit with low expectations. In the case of "Doctor's Mine", I'm not really a fan of Lee Long Shi, but I am a fan of Pak Varayu, so I'll watch it for Pak and Mon. In the case of "Love Sea", I liked the original mainly for Fort & Peat, so I'm not sure how I'll react to the Japanese remake, but I at least want to be able to compare and decide for myself.

Young first love with a happy ending, which usually means university or school BLs. (This is to make up for my missed teen years, as I grew up in a socially very conservative environment, so I didn't start dating till I was in my early 20s.)

Enemies to Lovers, Romance, Comedy, Thriller, a bit of Horror but not too much. I like mysterious works, heavy ones, happy ones that specifically make you laugh and ones that are iconic in some way.
