Now I want to rewatch Secrets Happen on the Litchi Island. One of the best BLs I have ever seen.
Today I added it to my "Most Romantic & Heartwarming Dramas to Rewatch" list. I just watched it in May so I'll wait until next year to rewatch it. The special eps reminded me of how much I absolutely love their playful and warm relationship.
I mean, if I could have a guy that was warm, devoted and fun, not to mention protective, I'd be signed up for life. Long hair is a bonus! 🤣

The Wicked Game
Episode One :
- Oh my goodness, the costume designer for Off is absolutely killing it! They deserve a massive raise because wow, he looks fantastic! Seriously, I need to see him styled like this more often!
- So, did Thanet take Risa's idea, or was it actually his son?
- Jet really needs to take a step back. Pheem walks in, and breathes the same air as him, and he instantly unleashs his fire dragon breath. Like he can't even take a sip of his wine and control his feelings until those around him vanish, yet he seeks a higher position.
- Eight minutes in and I've already found someone to add to my hit list.
- I'm almost certain that the person driving the car is either the mother or one of the aunts of that whiny baby who's throwing a fit because his "not family member" has come back.
- This woman actually dumped an entire bottle of alcohol on the face of a dying woman she just hit with her car. And I seriously doubt she took Pheem along in the vehicle. Most likely, she just abandoned him there to struggle on his own .
- Skips to the next scene, and she hurls him down the stairs. It's way too early for me to feel this intense urge to eliminate a character!
- Ugh, it's always the same story: you're just a bastard child, so you don't have the right to inherit this company, blah blah blah. Now that Dad is retiring, Jett is anxious that Pheem is trying to Secure his position as the next in line for the hospital.
- Than removes his helmet, Pheem proceeds to give him a thousand-yard stare. Same, bro, same! He's just so incredibly fine, lmao.
- Pheem must be feeling so guilty for accidentally hitting him with his car. As Then goes off on him pointing out how it could have been a homicide, poor Pheem is likely thinking about his mom, who was also hit by a car.
- Pheem: "I’m not a fan of being touched, understand?" Me: "But you will enjoy it later."
- Than : "hurry, it's hot" Me: you're sporting a jacket, why not ditch it? LOL
- "I said I'm looking for a supervisor for the project not a volunteer". Not Jet's Dad giving him a verbal smack in front of Pheem. Now, what controversies does Jett possess that would cause his father to be concerned about damaging the New Wellness Center's reputation?
- Risa is likely to either align with Pheem in the end or she may betray them all due to feelings of neglect.
- Oh yes, Jett, you just waltzing into Pheem's office is totally going to send him packing back to Singapore. Just as you envisioned, right?
- Not Pheem straight-up declaring to Jett that he's after his spot and everything his family holds dear! He's not even bothering to conceal his motives for returning, haha, I’m here for it! Let’s see who ends up on their knees in the end!
• Oh my gosh, YESSS! I am absolutely obsessed with Off in this role! Seriously, he's totally giving "Challenge me, I dare you, and witness what I can really do!".- • Daou's singing always manages to bring the brightest smile to my face
- •The police chief is corrupt and has set up Than, causing him to resign. I am not surprised in the slightest. It’s always a corrupt officer.
- Pheem "uncovers" a mismatch in the distribution of fentanyl, he confronts the chief pharmacist, and issues him a "warning." Drugs were stolen and resold, and there may have been involvement from Jets, who may have set him up to be ambushed.
- • I have a hypothesis regarding the connection between fentanyl and the reasons behind Than's forced resignation.
- Excuse me, Pheem, but you really didn’t need to strut out with your chest on display like that.
- Oh, DaouOff's chemistry, how I've longed for it! It's only improved since "Century of Love."

Gaga has dropped episode 1 of season3. It wasn’t my favorite series but the premise is fun and funny and I will definitely be watching.

Isn't this the same as last year's "Man Who Defies the World of BL 2024", or am I missing something?
Dogbro: Despite its potential, Dogbro ultimately fell short. The series struggled with weak writing, technical issues, and inconsistent pacing across its six 45-minute episodes. Subtitles were a mess early on, making it hard to follow,
Indeed. "Dogbro" is among the worst BL* trainwrecks I've ever loved. (Two of my vulnerabilities are cuties and dogs.)

Yeah, this is definitely a re-watch for me, too. Aside from the extraordinary lead actors and their genuine chemistry, it's remarkable that such a tiny production crew with such a meagre budget was able to produce such a masterpiece with such beautiful 4K cinematography. This is indie at its best.

Now watching episode 2 of the new "Takumi-kun" series - and lovin' it. This is such a big step up from the earlier movies (although it unavoidably suffers from the confusing number of characters and from the presumption that the viewer already knows the background story from Takumi's first year at school).
