Some takeaways because I couldn't be bothered writing out a lot of notes.
- Nawa is a drink master, and everyone wants to climb him.
- Phu, attempting to pull off the same vibes as Prapai (LITA).
Me: Nope, I find his staring unsettling. - Phana and Phu seem to co-own the bar, but Phu is too preoccupied with flirting with the staff and drinking with customers. He appears to have his attention on other pursuits and doesn't even handle the bar's paperwork. So, what qualifies him as a business partner? A fat wallet?
- Phana is in a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend, but it has been over for some time now. Yet, they can't bring themselves to say the dreaded three words: let's break up.
- Can someone tell me the name of the guy at the neighboring bar who has a mermaid scale on his wall? I'm not sure if he's another merfolk or a hunter, but either way, he's attractive, and I need to know the actor, haha.
- Mermen swim to release poison from their scales during a full moon
- There's no way Nawa noticed Phu's attempts to flirt but is completely missing all the signals Timmy is sending his way. I mean, this guy is patting his head, holding his hands on the beach, and gazing at him underwater. He's either the most oblivious creature, both underwater and above, or he's ignoring what Timmy is putting out. If I were him, I wouldn't even bother with Phu because, once again, he's being creepy, lmao.

My first reaction is disappointment. I don't know what to think. I was already underwhelmed and then one scene finished it off. Peer pressure at the bar by Lava the ML who I'd like to connect with but instead is starting to annoy me. Make that both Lava & Tum. (Sorry Jadeheart, lol)
Maybe there will be "character growth" later? It's only been 2 eps. I want to support Winnie & Satang, but I'm motivated more by how a drama feels than the actors in it.

Useful tip for watching "Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island":
If at all possible, watch on a large screen in 4K resolution.
(1) The English subtitles are tiny and "hard", and this make them much easier to read.
(2) The cinematography is even more beautiful in 4K.
Regarding horror and supernatural BLs, there are (in addition to the above currently airing or upcoming titles) many many past titles, especially when defining "supernatural" broadly (reincarnation, vampires, ghosts, time travel, magical abilities, body swapping). Can you be a bit more specific about what you're looking for, not only in terms of sub-genre but also heavier/thriller vs. lighter, or other elements you especially like?
Without knowing more about your tastes, my top recommendation right now would definitely be "Khemjira" (uncut version on iQiyi).

i said season 3 because you have to select season 3 to watch it on Gaga. But they've made more than 3 so it looks like this is actually the 4th series/show in this series
i may have jumped the gun because since it was new on Gaga i assumed season 3 was the 2025 one but maybe it is the 2024 one. I only watched the first two, which were on Viki. So now I’ve confused myself.
did you watch the 2024 one already? Does it appear to be the same? Maybe Gaga dropped it to hype the 2025 series?
update: rather than speculate I went and watched what just dropped on Gaga and you are correct. It is the 2024 series. I guess we are still waiting for the 2025 conclusion.
