Lover Merman EP 4

I'm just starting EP 4 and oh wow, I guess I forgot about the ending scene in EP 3.  It's certainly RX worthy. I had to go back to it cuz EP 4 starts with the next morning and me wondering if they did the deed or not. I think I got my answer looking back at the third ep.  😂

Okaaay I'll go back to watching the rest of EP 4 now. As Dora mentioned, it is getting better as time goes on, even without the, ahem, special scene. 💀

ETA: Nawa didn't last long, but then there's only 8 eps and it's the halfway point now.

Anyway to the business of this post.
Right, let me see if I can refresh my memory on what I wanted to say.  

About halfway through this series I came to my own conclusion that this is not a love story; at least in my view. I think Hua Yong's obsession and accompanying acts have made the waters too murky for a love story to break through. If anything this is an entrapment that is sweet on this side of things because Mr Sheng is not in opposition. Hence for me this more leans towards to Dark/Stockholm syndrome romance. 

As for the second couple, they were unfortunately not developed enough for me to comment on. Shen Wen Lang has no redeeming qualities.

I must acknowledge though that this series is certainly ground breaking as it did an amazing job of fleshing out and establishing the Omegaverse. The world building is well done, so a round of applause to the writers for that. They dedicated much more thought and effort to the theme than Thailand did in PitBabe. I hope other series going the Omegaverse route will note the work done here and take inspiration.

Unfortunately, for me, they dragged this story out to the point where my interest waned until non-existent (that sounds mean, I do not mean it in a malicious way, but rather I am being honest in expressing my feelings).

I'm quite new to BL drama , I found myself watching clips on YouTube in July then started watching properly last month & now I can stop watching 😆 As you can see from my pfp I really enjoyed The Next Prince such a sweet & romantic story , I am on episode 3 of The Eighth Sense currently.

I have started with one's sligthly older as I am really drawn to storyline's that involve the mc either going through anxiety / depression also trauma at times. This is because for me it's extra impactful being able to relate to them.

I  tend to go for ones with interesting synopsis & check out ones if many have highly recommended , if I hear others saying it's a must to check out / it's got lots of feels I will take a look. I like hearing others views & opinions.

I have checked out a couple of new releases I really enjoyed My Magic Prophecy , above I notice talk of Khemjira as soon as I saw the trailer to this one I was super interested. I like anything that is based around the supernatural so my interest is immediately piqued if the word horror comes up aha.

Between Us has to be one of the favourites I have watched at the moment , Team's insomnia & the tragedy that happened in his past really got to me on the feels / relatable aspect. it's one I still think about now so I wanted to mention it. So that's a bit about myself & what I like , nice to meet you & thank you for reading ! 💕

Yes, MMP and Khemjira are one of the best BL of the year. Other amazing shows from 2025 you might enjoy are Reset , Top Form and Secret Relationships .
