Well, in that case I think the two upcoming series you talked about today (Yesterday and some other one?) will be forgettable at best. I can't complete such subpar material. Something's gotta give in the case of Thai BLs. Why can't they make fewer series but all of them be Khemjira quality? I heard that one's actually good.

I'm not sure how to answer ur comment or concerns. I personally don't take dramas very seriously. Some BLs are high quality and some not so much. I don't think it's realistic to expect every BL to be the highest quality possible. Same goes for any drama, BL or not.
I've seen very low-budget,BLs, so not the best quality, but the stories were very endearing, if simple. Luckily we have many BL options and the freedom to choose. 😊

I watched a movie on YouTube called Boring Love (2009). It was not bad but the video quality was really poor so that made it hard to watch.dora:
Thank you for sharing! I have heard about Boring Love, but I might save it for later since the quality is not the best. The other ones you mentioned sound really good though, so I’ll probably start with one of them!

This was waiting in my queue, but thanks to your nudge I've started on it. Promising - and as often with JBLs, quite original. I was expecting that I'd have to watch via a fansubber, so I'm glad to see that Netflix has picked this one up.
(re "Chosen Home") I'm now up to episode 3 (on Netflix). @Ju Moon, you're so right - this slice-of-life adult*JBL about a constructed family (complete with pets) is really charming and endearing. Definitely recommended for those who like this kind of thing.
The past few months have brought us quite a few good JBLs. Although KBLs started the year great (especially with "Secret Relationships"), the more recent ones haven't been anywhere near that level - so I hope that "Peach Trap" (starting Thursday) changes that. The trailer is really promising!
* "adult" meaning relationship story between adults, not "pink movie".
How do you guys muster the ability to watch mediocre BLs? I don't have the patience anymore to watch slop of any kind (be it BL or otherwise)... 2 good episodes out of a dozen doesn't cut it anymore. I'm mostly talking about Thai BLs ofc, and GMMTV BLs especially. Like, I'm looking forward to the DewGun BL but that's about it. Maybe any works with FirstKhao. But not any of the others.
Sometimes I like the mediocre ones because they’re predictable or because they don’t require as much mental energy. if I watch only the best ones it’s too much emotional energy for me. But I have a lot of time to watch dramas and I enjoy something from every one that I watch.

After going through the Nov list of 10 expected new BL dramas, here's my high priority picks. Not sure if I can start all of them as they air, but for sure excited about them. 😆
