I started “Me and Who” yesterday and I’ve already caught up! I’m really enjoying it and I’m glad I decided to watch it now instead of waiting for it to finish.
I’ve never watched this pairing before, and hadn’t seen the trailer (or just forgot it, that tends to happen to me a lot with all these BL releases), so I just went in blind, and I’m glad I did. It was such a fun, enjoyable watch, and the chemistry was also really good.
Bodyguard François was hilarious. As soon as I saw his back, I recognised him. I’d recognise Poppy anywhere lol
I climb the walls with all that waiting. You are stronger than most. I can't remember the last series I watched week by week, episode by episode. I go crazy just waiting.

I managed to watch Tee Yai (non-BL) with my hubby Apo Nattawin. 😍 So happy it was available on Netflix! I always get sooooo frustrated when a show or movie drops on Netflix everywhere but here. So you can imagine the scream I let out when I saw 10 Dances is coming to Netflix here too. Sadly, it looks like The Next Prince will only be on Netflix Thailand. Can’t win ’em all, right? I’ll try to catch up on the episodes I missed tonight. 🍿🍿

I've watched and very much like all except "Ossan's Love", which just isn't my thing - although there are some others that are missing which would be among my own top ten (e.g. "Takara-kun & Amagi-kun", one of the cutest BLs ever).
Im with you. I did actually watch Ossan’s Love but it was torture. I hate that kind of comedy. You know I agree that Takara and Amagi should be in the top JBL list. It is very hard to narrow down to 10 top JBLs but here’s my attempt:

i was looking over my BL list and shocked to discover I’ve only watched 55 JBLs (including currently airing and special episode). Considering I’ve seen 385 BLs that’s not that many, but they make up a high percentage of my favorite BLs! Also they are among my most rewatched. While there are a few I wasn’t impressed with, overall the JBLs are lovely and moving and have a special quality absent from BLs from other countries.
i also signed up for GagaOOLala just to watch Akasaka and Our Dining Table but after that I couldn’t give up Gaga if only to watch those on repeat. Now i can’t imagine not having it.
also I paid for Crunchyroll for awhile just to see Cherry Magic. Side note: i don’t usually watch anime but Yuri on Ice is a great Anime BL that I watched years before I discovered live action BLs.
anyway I stand with you on the love of JBLs. Ten is too few for a favorites list.
Yes, that was a winner. To be honest, I'd have trouble narrowing my fave JBLs down to just 10.

edit: I messaged my friend who first got me to watch JBLs and she said I need to watch Journey to Killing You. While not in her top ten she said it’s essential viewing. Her top ten includes The Proper Way to Write Love so now I need to watch that too. And Chosen Home. Because you recommended that one. Too many shows!

surprisingly I don’t like movies as much as series so there’s a lot of Japanese content on Gaga i haven’t watched. But next up movie besides a pre-2005 movie for the 2025 BL challenge is The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese.

Totally agree! Punks Triangle, Peach Trap, Therapy Game, and School Trip are my weekly dose of cuteness. The stories are super engaging and the characters are just so charming!

Glad to read your updates! If I were to rank these JBLs, My Beautiful Man, Minato Shouji, and I Hear the Sunspot would take the top three spots, with My Beautiful Man and Minato Shouji tied for first place. And number 10 would definitely be Ossan’s Love.
I find that Netflix usually (but not always) works via VPN - but only from my Android device, not from my PC (Windows). Give it a try?
I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure adding another streaming option is the best idea. My watchlist is already way too long!
