Day 6: Most Evil Parent or Grandparent in a 2025 BL

I did not watch a ton of BLs with evil parents or grandparents this year, but this one is clearly the exception. Rachata from The Next Prince -> The way he tortured his son and his son's lover just makes me sick on so many levels. I honestly hoped his character would die at some point.

Special mention to Daon's father from Secret Relationships. He's also a huge piece of shit ngl and part of the reason why Daon behaved the way he did. Judging from the small amount of screen time his character had, I can easily believe how Daon must have been parentified from a very young age.

Not only had she neglected him as a child and let her partner abuse him, but years later together with the said partner plotted to kill her own son and get the insurance money for herself and her partner. What could be worse than this?

I’ve been very addicted to Heaven Official’s Blessing by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu lately and I’m on the third book and I just found out about Eternal Faith- I wish they’d just release it already 😭

Anyway, I highly recommend the novels, the main characters have so much chemistry and the story is really interesting!

(Sorry, this has nothing to do with BL dramas lol)

(I’m back! I’m in a really bad drama slump so I’ve been reading books instead but I started watching The Untamed and it’s so good!)
