My thoughts following ep. 3 of "DMD Friendship: The Third Chapter" (aka "Domundi Cutie-Fest"):
It's 6 episodes rather than 10, and CPs will presumably be matched up in ep. 5, so that doesn't leave much time for new bonds to form.
I predict that we'll have at least three CPs (ep. 3 spoiler alert!):
(1) Patji and Ryujin: While Patji's exploration of other options is totally natural and probably genuine, I think this ship is already too far along to break it. Not sure whether this "drama" is real or staged, but I think Namping's push for them to talk things out and hopefully mend their relationship is a sign of where Domundi wants this to go.
(2) North and Otto: Maybe this is my wishful thinking because I really like them together, but I can't help but think that Otto's choice of Phupha for "friendship time" is a big of staged drama. Until now, North/Otto was the most obvious case of mutual interest out of all eleven contestants, and I want to believe they genuinely like each other.
(3) Pung and Copper: They seem to be developing a genuine friendship. On the other hand, Copper clearly also his eyes on Fifa, who is indeed a total cutie. Whoever ends up with Copper, I really wonder how the logistics of this will work as long as Copper is still a student in London.
Finally, Porsche is eight years older than the next oldest contestant. While that doesn't matter to me, BL fandom can be so judgmental about age gaps, so I wonder where Domundi is heading with him? Maybe pair him with one of the Gen 1 or 2's? I'm assuming that Tommy and Jamessu are pursing music and not interested in a CP, so that leaves Mark Sorntast - or possibly even Park Parnupat, both of whom have played one-off BL boyfriend roles. Hmm, trying to imagine to myself how Porsche would fit with either of them. Not feeling it. I'm lost on this one, but I can't imagine that Domundi would've recruited an experienced actor like Porsche without a good plan.
