Quantcast

So I watched Heated Rivalry.........It was interesting. I had to skip a few NC scenes. I usually love those, but some of them were so intense, I couldn't get through them.

I don’t know why toxic is so appealing to watch but I was totally hooked

There's a different kind of excitement when watching morally grey characters and their actions. I don't want that toxicness irl but it's entertaining to look at on screen 😅 I have my limits tho 👀

Maybe we can have it at the end of the year like that we can have the first month of the year and the last month of the year with FirstKhao.

I wish for this scheduling 🙏 But yeah you never know for sure when the series are really gonna air even if it's in the year line-up. Wasn't Ticket to Heaven in the 2024 line-up and there's still nothing?

thank you so much , I appreciate it ! I want to be around more often but like you said life is a lot to deal with , I'll try my best 🩷

Trying your best is enough 💕🫶💝🫂

Hello. I have some question. I know this forum is about bl but I want to generally ask some question:

  1. How do people know they are transgender
  2. How do people know they are gay

I want some general information or experience to know more. I am unsure of the personal experiences or information.

It was first announced in late 2024 as part of the "2025 line-up", but there are a number of other titles from this group which are likewise still pending ("Only Friends: Dream On", "My Romance Scammer", "Love You Teacher", "Cat for Cash", "Dog and a Plane" and "Wu"), so I think this is still a pretty normal gestation period.

I've come to view these line-up announcements (from GMMTV as well as Domundi/Mandee) more as two-year plans. Even more than for stimulating viewer interest in the series and fandom interest in merchandise and events, I think they're intended to attract sponsor funding, which is such a big thing in Thailand. (How much do you want to bet that "Cat for Cash" and "Dog/Plane" are quietly being designed to attract dog/cat-related sponsors?)

I'm also happy to patiently wait for something really good. I hope "Ticket to Heaven" delivers.

To me, "gay" (or partly "bisexual" or "pansexual") means you're attracted to the same sex (ask yourself, "Who makes my heart go pitter-patter?"), while "transgender" is about how you identify yourself, not who you're attracted to  - i.e. #1 is about gender identity, #2 is about gender preference. Totally different things.

Also, sexuality is so much more complicated than "gay" and "straight". Although I've never really related to the word "queer" (I'm from an earlier generation), there's a lot to be said for an omnibus term that captures all the variations of "not straight".

My advice is follow your heart, be yourself, think about what (and who) makes you happy, and don't worry about the labels.

While everyone was busy last year watching Gelboys, I decided to wait and now I'm watching it. Best decision of the month so far. I like the cinematography, very colorful scenes and also scenes we've never seen before in a Thai BL drama. Only half an ep so far however. I think I'll watch 3 eps today. Maybe.

Technically I can't answer any of these two questions as I'm bi, but I can at least attempt to answer the second one. On the first one I'm not gonna say anything. People know they are gay if they have exclusive same sex attraction. If a man likes only men, if a woman likes only women. This means they are gay and lesbian respectively.

If you like both men and women, you're bi (like me). I can speak about this more, but I knew I was bi since 2008 or so? I was 14. People discover their sexuality at earlier ages than that but at that moment I found out I like women too. I haven't done much with this realization until now, but maybe in my 30s I'll date or something.

Attraction to one sex or the other is innate and immutable. So sexual orientation cannot be changed. If someone's gay, they're gay their whole life. Same for being bi or straight. Is there a reason for asking these questions? Or you just want to know more about sexual orientation?

I'd say people know they are gay / bi, the same way someone knows they're straight. It's an automatic and natural response. Some people might take longer to figure out their sexual orientation though, due to pressure from society to conform to heterosexuality. But deep down, they do know who they are.

Hope this helps.

Maybe similar to other BL couple matching shows like DMD Friendship?

Buddy Boys Project  Unconfirmed release date of Jan 27. I may have posted about this before but now there's an MDL page.

@Da Bao I am asking because I am quite confused with myself. I don't really know why. It is just so confusing. I came to some realisations myself but don't really know what they mean. I hope what I wrote right here made sense. I thought about many things for some months/years.

Well, questioning is a-okay. Although I don't know how we can help you... Have you tried asking online about it? Other than our group.

There is one thing that is true though: no one can tell you what your sexual orientation is. It's up to you to figure this out.

There are also YouTube video searches like "how to know if you're gay" and such. Although I personally don't know any off the top of my head.

Sorry to not be of much help.. maybe other people from this group know how to help better.

@Sophie I'm glad someone else has seen it here because I wanted to say that lao bai & night rain in every scene together from start to finish I couldn't help but want it to turn into something more , these two around each other was just killing me 😍. I was honestly impressed when I found out that it was low budget show & thought the acting of these two especially was great , the ending killed me though , I don't regret watching but I know I would have dropped it knowing in advance so in a way I'm glad I didn't know but still upsetting.

omg I am so behind on shows I want to cry , they're still quite a few highly recommended ones of last year I want to see & I want to be able to catch up so I can watch monthly current releases. this is happening because I'm not a person that can watch multiple shows at once so it takes longer 😭 , most of the series I have watched I have enjoyed though. out of the few bl's I've seen the ones I am really happy I watched so far has to be ;

1. Khemjira

2. Until We Meet Again

3. ABO Desire

I agree! There were a lot of moments between them that felt romantic rather than platonic. I honestly had a feeling it would end that way when I saw that one of the leads was sick. Still I held hope until the end. I thought Jian hu would die and then they gave us all that angst just for Ye Yu to die instead. It was really unexpected. Also, the fighting scenes were amazing. I usually get tired of them and just skip them, but they were really good for a low budget drama.

@iota thank you for reminding me i'm not alone & I think everyone is lovely too , I wish for you & everyone here to have a better & less challenging year 🤍
